Stones for the bath and their careful selection

It is necessary to understand that stones for a bath play an important role in obtaining quality procedures. The most basic requirement for them is a good ability to accumulate and give away heat. Thus, inside the long time the necessary temperature will be maintained. Successful operation of the bath can be ensured only if the stones used in the furnace are homogeneous in their structure . In a bath they are allowed to be stacked in any situations, since they are protected from splitting during interaction with water. Ecological cleanliness and safety for the human body should also be taken into account.

Very often stones for baths are tested for strength in two main ways. In the first case, the test is performed by a conventional impact against each other or using a hammer. Another option is to achieve a strong heating, after which there must be a sharp cooling in the water. Only after the passage of the listed tests is permitted the exploitation of stones. On their surface there should be no inclusions of foreign rock, as well as mica, grains of sand and other foreign substances. Otherwise, there is a danger of clogging the channels for flame and smoke.

As for the sizes, first of all it is recommended to start from the dimensions of the furnace itself. However, do not use too small stones for the bath.

Talcochlorite has fully proved its validity in this field, therefore it has become very widespread. Its main advantages include environmental cleanliness, uniform heat return and durability. On the whole globe there is hardly any analogue that can compare with this representative in popularity.

Of the semi-precious representatives, only one has a set of qualities suitable for bathing. Jadeite possesses sufficient strength, high heat transfer and non-hygroscopicity. In addition, it is able to ionize the air around itself. This kind of stones for a bath have certain medicinal properties, consisting in the normalization of pressure, elimination of pain in the back and positive action on the nervous system. It is also permissible to use gabbro-diabase, which perfectly accumulates heat and has good strength. Uniform heating it allows to avoid splits in contact with water.

When stones are put in the oven for a bath, the largest of them are placed on the bottom, and the rest are placed on top. Immediately before this, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Cracks and other defects are not allowed. Heaters must be disassembled from time to time to ensure a qualitative inspection and preventative cleaning. Unsuitable items are removed, and new ones are placed in their place. This is required for good air circulation. If frequent use of essential oils and other additives in the form of essences and lotions is envisaged, it will be necessary to periodically remove the deposit layer formed on the surface.
