We will construct a stove in the bathhouse with our own hands!

Recently, the Russian bath has become increasingly popular. And not in vain, because the trip to the bath gives not only the opportunity to wash and get a good steam, but also get a powerful charge of vivacity for a whole week.

Undoubtedly, the most important element of the sauna is the stove. If you want to build a bathhouse, then you can not do without it. Of course, you can just choose and purchase the finished one. The blessing on sale now there is a great variety. But in this article, we'll talk about how to build a stove for a bath with a water tank for yourself. This, strictly speaking, is not so difficult. The main thing is to observe the technology when manufacturing and understand the principles by which the bath is heated. The wood-burning stove in this regard is worth a separate mention. It can be heated by wood, coal or peat, is less technologically productive than electric or gas furnaces. Plus, it is worth noting that the new factory models, no matter how good they are, will not be able to provide the unique sensation that the traditional Russian stove-heater gives . After all, a stove in a bath is not only one of the elements of the construction, but also a special entourage and microclimate created by burning wood. In addition, such a model is safer compared to electric and gas, does not require the cost of additional communications. Installing a wood stove in a bath, you can not be afraid of gas leakage or a short circuit in the chain.

Let's talk in more detail about the types of homemade ovens. One of them is a stove with a remote water tank. The advantage of this design is its practicality, since there are no situations in which unnecessary raw steam from the tank enters the hot room of the bathhouse. For the manufacture of such a furnace, we need a conventional oven-burger with a built-in register for heating the water. Above the furnace it is necessary to make a special "pocket" for the stones (to protect it from serious burns it is better to make it open type). Such a furnace is made of sheet steel. The water tank is hung in such a way that its lower edge rises above the register level by at least half a meter. To the register the tank is connected by means of pipes or a rubber hose.

For small rooms it is recommended to make furnaces with low heat capacity. At the bottom of the furnace is a furnace, in the center is a heater, and above the structure there is a tank with water. Inside the metal casing, a brick wall can be laid (there is also a variant of such a stove without the use of bricks), stones are located on the grill made of steel strips. The above tank is heated by means of hot gases, water is poured into it through a special side opening. The assembly of such a structure is relatively simple and is carried out by welding.

Another interesting option is to make a stove in a bath from an iron barrel. First, the top and bottom are removed, resulting in a peculiar cylinder. The resulting design is installed on a grate, which, in turn, is installed on the firebox, laid out of bricks. Inside the barrel is also laid out a wall of bricks placed on the edge, and then stones are poured into about two-thirds of the interior space. The barrel is covered with a lid, and a chimney is led upward.

Also, a stove in a bath can be made of thick sheet iron without using bricks. At the bottom of this structure is an ashtray (a device for collecting ash from the burnt fuel), above there is a firebox, on top there is a grate. On the lattice there are stones, just above and to the side of them there is a chimney. Such a system is fairly simple to assemble, but it does not keep heat for a very long time because of the lack of brick walls in it.

As you can see, if you have the appropriate knowledge and a certain skill, it is not at all difficult to make an oven for a sauna yourself. The main thing is diligence and enthusiasm.
