Spartak metro station will open in 2014
Soon a new metro station - "Spartak" - will appear in the capital. Originally, the opening was planned for the end of 2013, but due to the fact that the construction of the stadium of the same name is not yet finished, the opening of these objects was decided to be combined. The station will be on the "Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya" line, and the neighboring stations for it will be "Tushinskaya" and "Shchukinskaya".
Construction of the station began in 1975, but as the Moscow authorities decided not to build a microdistrict on the territory of the Tushinsky aeropole, the need for a metro station disappeared, and its frame was filled up. The lobby was not yet built. Construction work resumed in 2012, after the construction of the stadium at Tushino airfield. According to the latest information, the metro station "Spartak" will open together with the stadium, so people have the opportunity to attend football matches.
Around the interior decoration of the station a lot of disputes arose. Initially, her design should have to do with the sports club of the same name. But it caused a rather stormy reaction, and it was decided to execute the design of the station in accordance with the elements of Roman culture, in honor of the famous gladiator. On the football theme will still resemble individual design elements and the color solution of the object.
After the opening of the metro station "Spartak" will serve the workers and guests of the sports complex, and also help unload the neighboring station "Tushinskaya". Next to the object of the authorities of the capital plan to build a transport and transfer junction, a hotel complex, as well as office and residential buildings.
This will unite the remote areas of Moscow with the center and allow people to quickly get to the right place. And the station "Spartak" and the eponymous stadium promise to become new Moscow sights, thanks to the upcoming World Cup, which will be held in Moscow in 2018.
