Sights of Cherdyn: (Perm region)

On one of the hills surrounding Cherdyn, there is a monastery named after. John the Theologian. The Church of St. John the Theologian was built by the captured Swedes in 1462. This is the first monastery based on the Urals. It still works today.

It was created in memory of the centenary of the birth of the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. The attractions of Cherdyn include the Dive Cave. It is located in the valley of the river, near the village of Nyrob. The cave is at the same time and its sights. The village is next to Cherdyn. Divya is the longest Ural cave. Its length is almost ten kilometers. In the cave there are many picturesque grottoes with small lakes. Attractions of Nyrob

In Nyrob, another famous person was also expelled - Voroshilov. Then, during the Soviet era, the dynasty of the Romanovs was forgotten. But in 2001 the memory of them again revived. And on the place of the wooden chapel stone is now built. The fence is decorated with royal attributes. A little later the Romanov Memorial Center was built. The exhibits stored in it were made by local prisoners.
