Short biography: Oscar Wilde - a man-paradox

In the second half of the nineteenth century this name was synonymous with the word "paradox". This man was a model of elegance and elegance, and his name was Oscar Wilde. Oscar Wilde used all his eloquence, defending himself. More than once the audience applauded and praised him as a hero. However, the writer was still sentenced to 2 years in prison. And he spent his entire term.

While Oskar was behind bars, his mother died, and the wife left for another country, taking for her sons and herself a different name.

After the release of our hero, he saw that many of his former comrades, as well as Alfred Douglas turned away from him.

With the support of his true friends, Oscar Wilde moved to France and changed his name to the pseudonym Sebastian Melmoth. In the new country, he published his latest work - "The Ballad of the Reading Prison", which was signed in the name of C.3.3.

Also during this period he wrote a couple of notes, in which he expresses his opinion about the organization of life of prisoners. It is noteworthy that his thoughts soon became part of the bill adopted in 1989.

So without returning to his homeland, Oscar Wilde died in November 1900 and was buried in Paris.
