Plot and summary

It is not surprising that the "Savior of Russia" immediately began to hunt, in which representatives of the mafia under the cover of the KGB, large swindlers under the guise of Gypsies and steppe dancers, greedy lovers of jewelry without any cover, and, finally, the police under their own cover.

Almaz flew to Moscow, but soon found himself in the hands of the mazer Kozyulsky, disguised as the chief of the State Security Committee (this character was brilliantly played by Armen Dzhigarkhanyan).

Then the "savior of Russia" is kidnapped by the impressive swindler Vasily Krolikov (Valery Garkalin), and the captain of the police, Jean-Paul Piskunov (Igor Ugolnikov), and, naturally, Kozyulsky, who remained without a diamond, with all his assistants, appear on his trail. Together they ambush the mother's apartment Vasya Krolikova, Praskovia Alexeevna.

Aferista Krolikova almost managed to catch, but instead of giving away the diamond, he swallowed it. And the persecutors, instead of cutting the thief in place and getting the jewel, took him to the hospital, from where Rabbit safely escaped.

The national question

And all would be nothing, but the events that are happening are suddenly complicated by the appearance of the conductor Innigent Snyperson, twin brother Vasily Krolikov, who looks like him, like two drops of water. Shnipersona grab instead of a swindler. On the one hand, this circumstance helps the original Rabbit, but, on the other hand, he loses peace from the thought that he turned out to be a Jew.

Shniperson is soon released, but there is another twin brother, the third one, Roman Almazov, who, despite his surname, has nothing to do with the abduction of the "Savior of Russia". Nevertheless, they also grab him.

After the dramatic upheavals, all three twins meet and begin to discuss the national question. At this time in the bucket with sauerkraut, the missing diamond is found, the situation is sort of normalized, the captain of the police, who started his hand in cabbage without any thought, just to eat, gets the rank of marshal.

In the final, the characters still fly to the Canaries. On the plane there is another twin of Vasily Krolikov, this time a black Patrick Krolikou. Slightly embarrassed Praskovia Alexeyevna hugs her fourth son and tells the stewardess how she gave birth to him and immediately carried her to the porch of the American embassy.

Director Vladimir Menshov invited many famous Russian actresses and actors to participate in the filming. The main female role was brilliantly performed by Vera Alentova, husband of Men'shov. The character of Praskovia Alexeyevna, the mother of four twin brothers, succeeded in the best way to the actress Inna Churikova.
