"Sheep": applique from different materials

Do you often work with your child at home with artistic creativity? Do you perform joint creative work? If your kid loves sticking details on the base, making crafts, he will definitely get a beautiful sheep. The application is made from available materials. The process is simple and interesting, so that you can take a quiet and useful creative work for a long time.

Cotton sheep

This is the simplest option, and you can use only one round billet only as a trunk of the animal, and the rest of the details can be drawn or made from paper. Another craft of "Sheep" (applique) can also be easily executed, but using several circles to compose the trunk. In the first case, you can make a whole flock of sheep from one packing of cotton disks, and in the second variant a little, but they will be voluminous, "well-fed".

The work goes like this:

  1. Prepare a cardboard base or a printed image of a hand-drawn picture - a landscape where your lambs will walk.
  2. Mark the pencil of the place where you want to glue the workpieces.
  3. Apply glue to the surface and attach a cotton pad. If the lamb will consist of one element, it can be previously cut into the shape of a wavy line. If from several, just glue the circles inside the contour of the trunk overlap.
  4. The rest of the details can easily be cut from colored paper, but the head of the animal can also be made from a wadded disk, cutting out the workpiece of the desired size.

Applique from felt

In order for you to get a beautiful applique "Ovechka", it is better to cut out the part templates from the cardboard beforehand, and already use these blanks as stencils. The initial scheme is easy to draw on your own or take a sample. The sequence of execution is:

  1. Cut out the blanks of all the details from the paper.
  2. Place on the felt the appropriate shade.
  3. Circle the path.
  4. Cut out the elements.
  5. Take the workpiece-base and put the remaining parts in layers. Sew them. Small items are easy to paste.

Applique "Sheep" made of paper

This method is traditional and simple. To perform such crafts, you will need colored paper or ready-made printed parts. In order for the child to get a neat "Lamb" appliqué, a template, of course, is required. So, the sequence is:

  1. Take the base and draw on it or print a contour image of the lamb and other elements (grass, sun, etc.).
  2. Make the stencils of the details.
  3. Help the child to lay out the blanks on colored sheets of the appropriate shade.
  4. Circle the workpieces and cut them out.
  5. Glue the parts on the foundation in sequence - from the background and its components, moving to the closest elements to the viewer. In the last place, eyes, nose and other small parts are usually glued.

Application "Sheep" from napkins

This way of doing crafts is easy, but it will require perseverance, patience and plenty of time to prepare the material. But you will get a very realistic lamb. The application of napkins is performed as follows:

  1. Narvite wipes for arbitrary parts of approximately equal size. You can cut it with scissors on squares.
  2. Twist the balls or lumps from all the elements. In this case, there is nothing wrong with the child's workpiece not getting smooth and neat. Even if the details are a little untwisted - it does not matter, since the lamb from them will turn out to be more fluffy.
  3. Prepare the base and draw or print out a contour image of the character on it. It's good to use a color picture as a background, then the application applied from the napkins will look even more original.
  4. When the base with the contour is ready, start applying glue to the surface and press the crushed lumps of napkins against it.
  5. Lay the sheepskin coat with paper napkins.
  6. Glue cut out of colored paper, painted or purchased plastic eyes.
  7. Make ears, tail.
  8. The claw is also easy to cut out of colored paper, but can be made from crumpled napkins, but they will have to be painted in brown or other suitable dark shade.

As you can see, the lamb (applique) can be made of different materials that convey the color and texture of the hair well. Offer the child to make a craft in several techniques. It's interesting and useful.
