Sergei Butorin - criminal authority, leader of the Orekhovo OPG. Life imprisonment

"Osya", or Butorin Sergey Yurievich, is a criminal authority and leader of the Orekhovo organized criminal group.

In 2011, the leader of the Orekhovo OPG was convicted, and life imprisonment was imposed . The judicial authorities recognized Butorin as guilty of the criminal acts incriminated to him, namely, the organization and leadership of an organized criminal group, as well as the killing of 38 people.

Several biographical facts

Butorin was born in 1964 in the town of Ostashkov, located in the Tver region. Having reached the draft age, the guy went to the army, where he served in the unit of sappers. The military unit was located in Odintsovo. After serving the due time, Butorin did not leave the service, but continued his military career. Thus, he rose to the rank of ensign. In young and mature years, Osy seriously began to get involved in sports, in particular boxing. Repeatedly he took part in all sorts of competitions and even got a rank in this sport.

However, in 1989, the future leader of the OPG resigned from the military ranks. His further work was to protect a small cafe called "Scarlet Flower". The location of this institution was in the Koptevo district.

The first crime

The younger brother of Sergey Butorin - Alexander, was repeatedly tried, used narcotic drugs. Perhaps, it was thanks to him that Butorin connected his life with crime. So, it was together with Alexander Osya, who did not yet have such a nickname, committed his first crime. It happened on July 27, 1990. Then Butorin was not yet in any criminal groups, he did not communicate with any of the authorities of the criminal world. That day Sergei Butorin, Osya, with his brother committed a robbery of the apartment of Victor Magids, who was known in certain circles as a collector.

The order for the robbery of this apartment came to the brothers from another antiques lover - Yakov Feldman. The latter met Alexander Butorin in places of detention, where he also served his sentence. In addition to the brothers, Evgeny Tokarev, who was also a friend from the places of incarceration, took part in the crime. But besides this, Tokarev used to work in the internal affairs agencies. Sergei Butorin made preparations for the crime, that is, measures to search for weapons. As a result of this robbery, criminals have been causing damage amounting to more than nine million US dollars. Among the stolen was a lot of jewelry, icons, ancient paintings, as well as a variety of archaeological finds.

Yakov Feldman and Vladimir Stepanov

A certain role in this crime was supposed to be played by Vladimir Stepanov, who at that time was a beginning entrepreneur. According to the plan developed by Feldman, Stepanov had to stand in the car at a distance from the scene of the crime, and when the others do their job, drive up to the entrance and take away the stolen goods. But it was at that very moment that Stepanov had an incident. At a certain time, he was unable to drive up to the designated place, because he was dreaming. Waking up and arriving at the house of Magids, Vladimir Stepanov found that his accomplices are no more.

Four years later, Vladimir Stepanov appealed to the police, where he told about the crime committed, about the persons who participated in it. The militia officers declared Butorins, Tokarev and Feldman wanted. After some time Feldman was found hanged in the Belgian capital. There he left a week after the perfect robbery, he lived in Brussels, in one of the hotels where he rented a room. The Belgian police found no signs indicating that it was a violent death. So everyone decided that it was suicide. Feldman's corpse was sent to Moscow, where he was cremated.

Subsequent criminal career

Having carried out the said robbery of the apartment, Osya realized that there was a period during which one could get up quite well. It was then, with the collapse of the USSR, the era of the cooperative movement came, and the criminal career of many criminals went up the hill. The adoption of such cooperative entrepreneurs under their own protection ("protection") brought very high incomes. Of course, Butorin's work as a security guard for some pennies was not to his liking, so he and his brother and fellow nicknamed Belok (Belkin Dmitry) decided to organize their own brigade. These events took place in Odintsovo. Having created the group, the criminals began to work - they extorted money from entrepreneurs, committed looting and robbery.

Extension of organized crime groups, unlike other gangs

Over time, the gang began to expand, under control, it passed an ever larger and larger territory. Their influence spread to the zone from Odintsovo to Zvenigorod. In the main, the OPG was engaged in racketeering of entrepreneurs, but also did not shun any other business for which it would be possible to get at least some profit.

The difference of Butorin's OPG from other criminal organizations was that subordinates of the Axis committed murders not by order, but in general just so, perhaps, even for pleasure. Such murders did not bode well for them, but the fact remains that people were killed for no apparent reason. So, at one time Butorinsk people were at enmity with the Golitsin OPG. Subsequently Golitsyntsy surrendered, gave the Butorin group all their wealth and spheres of influence and no longer claimed anything. However Butorin's men continued to kill those without stopping.

Criminal authority

Already by 1993, Butorin received a very significant authority in Odintsovo, other criminal groups began to listen to him , and his OPG became the only one holding Odintsovo.

In the same year, 1993, Alexander and Sergei Butorin got acquainted with Grigory Gusyatinsky, then head of the Medvedkovo OPG. The latter was, in turn, the closest subordinate of Sergei Timofeev, the current leader of the Orekhovo OPG. Gusyatinsky recognized the Butorin brothers as the people he needed, and decided not to let them go far from himself. Later he introduced them to Sergei Timofeev.

Then the distribution went as follows. Belkin was left in Odintsovo to control there criminal activity. Butorin, Jr. became Gusyatinsky's right hand, he was entrusted with various assignments that could not be entrusted to other people. Sergei Butorin goes to the gang of Ananievsky Sergey, nicknamed Kultik. After some time, he, as a member of the organized crime group, becomes the right-hand man of Sergei Timofeev (Sylvester).

Detaining accomplices

Later, in 1994, Alexander Butorin, Yevgeny Tokarev, and also the head of the Medvedkovo OPG, Grigory Gusyatinsky, were detained in a completely different case. The criminals took pictures of a dacha from a famous academician in the Moscow region, where they were detained by police officers. When the villa was searched, the detectives discovered a whole store of firearms and ammunition. Only one Makarov pistol in the cache was twenty pieces. Subsequently it was found that these pistols were stolen from the fire school, located in the Irkutsk region. At the time of the theft of these pistols, the watch school was killed.

Sergei Butorin from arrest in that ill-fated for the rest of the day saved only the fact that, having learned about the detention of his remaining accomplices, he managed to hide. Later, the lawyers of the criminals managed to get the court to ensure that all detainees were released on bail.

Release and re-detention

After the liberation, the trinity was met by the whole "brotherhood", from which the organized criminal group consisted. But they were expected not only by comrade criminals, but also by a detachment of special purpose militia. The soldiers arrested the newly released criminals, as well as all those who met them. Then the detainees were taken to the police department, where they "rolled their fingers", made a video recording, and then released. But Alexander Butorin and Yevgeny Tokarev were not released, but sent to the capital. There the criminals were charged with robbery, committed by them against the collector Magids.

After this incident Gusyatinsky quickly left for Kiev, but was killed there by an assassin hired by his own people who decided that he was no longer needed.

Investigation into the case of apartment robbery

After the arrest of Tokarev and Alexander Butorin, they were repeatedly interrogated, but all the charges were refuted by the criminals, without acknowledging anything. Investigative bodies, however, also did not sit still. They carried out a number of investigative actions, including the identification of criminals by the victim Victor Magids. The latter easily identified everyone. Measures to show the suspects to the victim were carried out right at the hospital, where Magids was on treatment. In addition to identifying Magidse, Tokarev and A. Butorin gave testimony to Stepanov. But this did not limit the evidence base against the criminals. In the robbed apartment of the collector, hair belonging to the criminal was found and seized. Later, a forensic examination was carried out and it was established that this hair belongs to Butorin.

Thus, the guilt of the detainees was confirmed by fully found evidence.

Search for stolen antiques

But at the same time, investigators were concerned about another question: where was the kidnapped? Of the stolen paintings in the capital, only one was found, which police officers confiscated from Butorin just a couple of months before he was arrested. Arrest at that time was made for the storage of firearms, which was found in the trunk of the car. In the same place, along with the machine gun, there was also a picture that was "confiscated" to the heap. Later the case was covered, but the stolen picture remained somewhere in the police department.

With the new investigation, this investigators recently recalled a recent case, raised it, found a picture that they returned to the owner. After some time, Interpol's employees discovered six more stolen paintings, which they wanted to sell through the Sotheby's auction. Victor Magids himself went to the UK, where he took the property belonging to him. However, he later sold the paintings through this auction.

The victim Victor Magides died in 1995, the trial of the abductors of his property never began, so he did not have time to contemplate sending criminals to places of detention.

The trials in the criminal case, in which Evgeny Tokarev and Alexander Butorin were accused, lasted about a year and a half. Before the court had to pass his sentence, the main witness, Vladimir Stepanov, was killed. He was shot right at his entrance, the instrument of the crime was a pistol.

Decoupling

A few years later, more precisely in 2011, it turned out that Stepanova was killed by the order of Sergei Butorin, and the murder was carried out by Marat Polyansky, who at that time was working for Butorin with his bodyguard. Despite this, Stepanov had time to give all the necessary testimony, so that his murder did not affect the verdict of the court.

Sergei Butorin's brother was sentenced to 9 years in prison, but Evgenia Tokareva was sent to a psychiatric clinic for treatment. Later, Tokarev escaped from this hospital, he could not find it. Sergei Butorin, as already mentioned, was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Not all people know where Sergei Butorin is sitting, why he was deprived of his liberty, what crimes he committed, but some time ago he gave an interview to an information publication in which he told about his atrocities, his attitude to life in that not so much Long time.
