Semi-automatic sewing machines for sewing fittings and making fasteners perform automatically labor-intensive technological operations. Button Machine

The button-type machine is designed for sewing flat buttons with four and two holes without a stand with a two-thread shuttle stitch. The main shaft rotational speed is 1500 rpm, the buttons with four holes are sewn for 21 puncture of the needle, and the buttons with two holes - for 14 punctures. The diameter of sewing buttons is 15-35 mm, the distance between the holes of the buttons is 3-5 mm. Threads used:

Processes sewing on buttons . When you press the left pedal, the pull lifts the button holder, the product is laid under it, and a button is inserted between the buttons of the button holder. When you press the right pedal through the chain, the machine switches on. The needle is deflected across the machine platform and sews the button in the first two holes. After the 10th puncture, the needle deviates to the right, and the fabric moves along with the button to the working one. Then the needle again receives deflections across the platform and sews the button into the second two holes. After the 19th puncture, the needle stops deflecting across the machine platform and makes two fixing punctures. The button machine automatically turns off when the needle is at the top position.

Sewing a button with two holes is only possible with transverse needle displacements, after the two needle pins are fixed, the machine automatically turns off.

The machine is installed by the front part to the working part and has a semi-cylindrical platform raised above the industrial table.

Work methods and basic adjustments. When you press the left pedal, the button holder rises, and a transparent screen moves to the worker, whose axis is held in the lower front part of the machine. A transparent screen is used for safety reasons to eliminate the damage to the face of the button-operated button and needle with an inaccurate orientation of the button holes relative to the needle. The button is inserted between two paws and an emphasis, that is, it receives three support points. When installing the button, its right front opening should be oriented relative to the needle's movement line. The machine is turned on after placing the product under the feet.

In the machine, the programming device that controls the movement of the needle and the movements of the fabric (or other materials) together with the button is the copier located to the left of the worker. Its outer groove controls the deviations of the needle, and the inner groove controls the movements of the tissue. It should be noted that when sewing a button with two holes, the copier must be replaced by another, the outer groove of which allows sewing a button. In this case, the material transfer mechanism must be switched off. In this case, adjust the value of the longitudinal movements of the fabric by moving the muff with the weakened screw along the rod. If the muff and the screw are moved upwards and closer to the point of support of the lever of longitudinal displacements, then the fabric and button will stand in place, that is, they will not receive displacements. In general, the adjustment of the length of the longitudinal movements of the fabric and the button is performed by changing the distance between the parallel holes of the button, when the fabric moves along the platform between the 10th and 11th needle punctures.

When changing the distance between the holes, the buttons adjust the amount of needle deflection across the machine platform. This adjustment is performed by moving the screw bolt along the slot of the horizontal lever. If, after loosening the nut, the helical pin is moved from the working one, the needle deflection will decrease. If the amount of needle deflection is adjusted correctly, i.e., the needle contacts the edges of the holes in the button, the needle position relative to the holes should be adjusted. For example, if the needle touches the right walls of the holes of the button, then it is advisable to translate the needle to the left; To do this, loosen the screw and increase the length of the pull.

When changing the diameter of the button, adjust the distance between the tabs and the stop. To do this, loosen the screws and move the stop along the platform. If you move it from the worker, the distance between the presser foot and the stop will increase. The pressure of the feet on the fabric is adjusted with a bolt. If it is screwed, the pressure of the leaf spring and, accordingly, the feet will increase.

The coiler for winding the bottom thread is mounted on the tide of the rack of the machine sleeve. The thread before the winding on the bobbin is wound between the washers of the tension regulator.

The machine has two pulleys: a working machine, rigidly fixed on the main shaft of the machine, and idler, freely rotating on the main shaft. Both pulleys and their drive belt are covered by a hinged cover to ensure safety requirements.

Cleaning and lubrication of the machine . Cleaning of the working parts of the machine is carried out in the same way as in all grinding machines; For this purpose, the front board is removed first and the flap covering the shuttle set is folded down. Lubrication of the interfaces of the mechanisms is carried out manually using a lubricator. For lubrication, industrial oil is recommended .
