"Brilliant" is a female pop group. It was founded in 1995 by Andrei Shlykov and Andrei Grozny. This is one of the first girlish musical groups in Russia. For two decades its membership has undergone many changes. About the group "Brilliant" will be discussed in our article.

Initial composition (1995-1998)

In 1995, the producer and composer of the group "MF 3" Grozny Andrey together with his friend, Shlykov Andrey, decided to create a women's group. They found the first soloist right away. She was young Olga Orlova. Later, the girl invited her old acquaintance, Polina Iodis, into the collective. The third participant of the group was Varvara Koroleva, a dancer. Then the group "Brilliant", whose composition was finally determined, recorded the first single. It was called "There, Only There." After the release of the eponymous album in 1996, the "Brilliant" went on their first tour.

The first changes (1999-2000)

The first group left Varvara. In her place in March 1996, Irina Lukyanova came. Some time later, Joanna Friske appeared in the team. At first she was artistic director of the group. Later, the producers decided to take the fourth soloist and offered this place to Jeanne. In May 1997, the girl co-starred with the rest of the group in the clip "Flowers". Since then she has become a full member of the musical group. The girls themselves jokingly called the changes in the group "brilliant." And they were right. For two years they have shot several bright clips ("Cha-cha-cha", "Clouds", "Where are you, where") and achieved great popularity. However, this did not end the changes that the "Brilliant" group underwent. Its composition changed at the end of 1998, when she left to devote herself to the family, Polina Iodis.

New permutations (2001-2003)

In 1999, in August, a new soloist appeared in the group - Novikova Xenia. Her arrival was marked by the appearance of new songs: "Chao, bambina," "In the Fall, Winter Will Come." Later the musical album "About Love" and a collection of the best compositions "White Snow" were released. In 2000, the team left Olga Orlova because of pregnancy . In her absence, the leader of the group became Jeanne Friske. This ambitious girl soon (in 2001) launched a solo project, but continued to work in the group. Soon the team got the charming Julia Kovalchuk. Another nice blonde was joined by the group "Brilliant". Photos of the girls appeared on the pages of famous glossy publications.

In 2003, this collective was recognized as one of the brightest Russian musical projects. However, soon the group left Irina Lukyanova. She worked as a soloist for seven years. In place of the girl came former figure skater Anna Semenovich. The group "Brilliant", the composition of which was replenished with a new bright participant, recorded the composition "Orange Song" and shot a clip on it. In the summer of 2003, Jeanne Friske left the band. In December of the same year for the magazine "FHM" the group "Brilliant" appeared. Photos of beautiful girls (Semenovich, Kovalchuk, Novikova and Friske) were very frank.

The further fate of the group (2004-2009)

Until the spring of 2004, Anna, Julia and Xenia worked together. Then they had a new colleague - Nadezhda Handle. The debut of this soloist took place in the video "New Year's Song". In the updated composition, the girls recorded several new singles, released in 2006, in January, a new album "Oriental Tales" and shot two bright clips. One of them (for the song "Oriental Tales") even aroused dissatisfaction with the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia, Heydar Jamal.

In 2007, in March, she started in solo swimming and Anja Semenovich left the band. It was replaced by a young Osipova Anastasia. With her re-recorded the single "Agent 007" group "Brilliant". The composition of the team in this version did not last long. In a couple of months Ksenia Novikova left him . The girl was replaced by a new soloist - Natalia Friske. It was presented to the public in 2007, on October 4, at the prestigious music award. In the summer of the same year, another participant appeared in the group - Natalia Asmolova. She lasted only three months because of disagreements with the producers of "Brilliant". At the end of 2007, Yulia Kovalchuk ended the contract with the group. The girl did not prolong it.

In the beginning of 2008, the producers selected new soloists - Anna Dubovitskaya (dancer) and Nadezhda Kondratieva (singer and model) for the place of the departing Yulia Kovalchuk and Natalia Friske. However, Nadia did not work in the team. In June 2008, in her place came Lukasheva Julianna.

Recent changes (2009-2014)

In 2009, in mid-November, she announced the departure of Yulianna Lukasheva. On the "Golden Gramophone" the musical collective presented an updated composition with Berezhnaya Marina. In 2010, in January, "Brilliant" recorded the single "Shar", and later shot a video on it. In November of the same year the band presented the song "Morning". In the beginning of summer 2011 the legendary participant - Novikova Xenia - returned to the collective. "Brilliant" immediately recorded a fresh single "Love". In October 2011 Anna Dubovitskaya left because of her pregnancy. November 11, 2014 on the channel RU.TV hosted the debut video clip for the song "Lose". November 14, a presentation of this video in the restaurant Stakan group "Brilliant". The composition of 2014 - Nadezhda Ruchka, Anastasia Osipova, Marina Berezhnaya, Ksenia Novikova.
