Scabies mite. No one is insured from its neighborhood.

Intradermal parasite, which causes a person to develop a disease such as scabies, is an itch mite. Otherwise it is called itch itching. The skin of a person is a very comfortable place of his dwelling. People themselves this neighborhood gives little joy. Living and multiplying, constantly moving and allocating various products of their life, itch mite causes allergic reactions in its owner and the strongest itching.

Especially strong it becomes at night and evening time, which is directly related to a clear rhythm of vital activity of this parasite. It should be said that scabies are very contagious. That is why scabies in families require compulsory treatment of all family members. The first descriptions of this disease were found in the Old Testament. It was considered as a parasitic disease, but the evidence of this theory appeared only after the invention of the microscope. Only in this way can the microscopic size of the scabby mite be considered.

The male is very small, the female is slightly larger, but its length does not exceed 0.4 millimeters. The female plays the main role in the progression of the disease. The male is responsible only for fertilization, after which it dies. Females look for places with the most delicate and delicate skin, digging in it moves and laying eggs. Within a few days the larvae hatch, after a week they turn into completely adult individuals. What does the itch mite look like? If you look at this parasite in a microscope, its appearance is very much like a turtle. It has a streamlined oval shape and two pairs of legs on each side of the trunk. Males differ from females by a large number of suction cups on the legs. Female suckers are only on the two front pairs of legs. The remaining legs are equipped with bristles, providing a clear forward motion.

Outside the body, on various surfaces touched by the infected person, the itch mite can quite comfortably exist at room temperature for more than two weeks. At the first opportunity, it is introduced into the next victim and begins to multiply. It bends only if the ambient temperature is above sixty degrees. Therefore, for their complete destruction, boiling is often used. The negative air temperatures are also harmful to them.

Scabies mite in humans is transmitted mainly through touch. Any skin contact, especially in a collective environment, leads to infection. Now experts say that the existing theory of transmission of the disease through household items is unlikely. But still it is possible. An experiment was conducted, in which almost three hundred volunteers participated. They were put in bed sick with scabies. Of the total number of infected only four people.

With the naked eye, it is impossible to consider what an itch mite looks like. He's too small. But you can clearly see the rapid traces of his life. The first rashes brightly appear on the delicate skin of the genitals, mammary glands in women, buttocks, abdomen, waist, folds of hands and feet, as well as interdigital folds. The head usually does not have rashes. As a rule, bites are located in pairs, and under the skin you can see the moves that the scabby mite did.

The main task of a person in the detection of these symptoms is the complete destruction of parasites. One of the most popular means in the fight against the tick is sulfuric ointment. She needs to rub the entire body once a day, excluding the head. Contacts with water are forbidden. After five days you can wash, change all clothes, bed-clothes, towels and other things. The treatment is simple, but not everyone likes the strong smell of sulfuric ointment. Therefore, you can use other means. These are spregal, permethrin, crotamiton, lindane and benzyl benzoate. After the treatment, do not forget to thoroughly disinfect all personal items and household items.
