Russian winger Andrey Mikheev

Andrei Mikheev is a Russian football player who is currently playing for a small club called The Seagull. He turned 29 years old, so now he is at the peak of his career. However, he has not managed to achieve impressive results yet. Andrei Mikheev plays the position of the right winger, but if necessary he can also take the place of the central striker.

Carier start

Andrei Mikheev was born on July 1, 1987 in the Soviet city of Rostov-on-Don. There he started playing football. First, Andrew entered the football school "Rostov - 21 century." And in 2002 he joined the football academy of the Rostselmash club. In 2003, he replaced the academy, moving to "Torpedo-ZIL" (which is now called "Moscow"), and in 2004 he moved to the Rostov club "SKA". There he spent two years. However, the sportsman did not receive an offer to sign a professional contract. So he had to look for another club. And the first team, for which Andrei Mikheev played, was Podolsky "The Knight".

Early years

In the "Vityaz" Mikheev Andrei spent only one year, showing very good results. He played 23 games and scored four goals. As a result, in 2007 he was in the "Saturn", but there for him there was no place in the basis - Andrew played only for a double. Therefore, the player was quickly rented to "Taganrog", where he showed that he is capable of much.

In 33 games he scored nine goals. However, returning to "Saturn", the player quickly realized that there he was again waiting for only the second team. Therefore, a month later he found a new club - an interest in a young player showed "Krasnodar", which he signed. Since January 2009, Mikheev Andrew has become a member of the new team, where he held the best segment of his career.

As mentioned above, it was in the "Krasnodar" Mikheev Andrei Vasilievich could find a place for himself where he could open up and realize himself. For three years, the winger defended the colors of the club and managed to play many matches in his form. On the account of Mikheev as a result there were 86 matches in which he scored 15 goals.

However, in the summer of 2012 the club decided to terminate the contract with the player. He obviously did not meet the new level, which went to "Krasnodar". It happened in the end by mutual consent. And Andrei Mikheev, whose biography was no longer so impressive from that moment, joined Ufa.

Further career

In the new club, Mikheev spent only a year, and failing to win a place in the starting lineup. He played only ten matches, after which he moved to Salyut. There the athlete spent quite a successful six months, played 20 matches. He celebrated with five goals and again tried to go on raising, having signed the contract with "Rotor". But there for six months he went on the field only seven times, without scoring a single ball. As a result, in the summer of 2014 the transition to Sakhalin followed, where Mikheev held even fewer matches - only five.

Six months later he moved to "Torpedo-Armavir" and there he was able to gain a foothold in the starting lineup. For a year and a half he came on the field 36 times, scoring four goals. However, in the summer of 2016 his contract with the club expired. The athlete moved to the Seagull from Peschanokopsky. There he has been performing for six months already. Now Andrei has another six months of contract in reserve, after which he, most likely, will have to look for a new job.

National team appearances

Unfortunately, Mikheev did not manage to break into the Russian national football team. Moreover, he practically did not perform at the international level, even in youth or reserve teams. He has only two matches for the Russian youth team under the age of 19, as well as one single game for the Russian Olympic team. The last one took place in 2011. Since then, the footballer has not been called into any teams. And given how his career is developing at the moment, the probability of a second call is getting smaller and smaller every year.

In principle, this summer Mikheev will be thirty years old. His football career will enter the final stage. But so far, he has a contract with the "Seagull", for which he will perform until the summer of 2017. And what will happen next - the time will seem. Football is a sport in which absolutely everything can happen. So do not write off any of the bills in advance. Perhaps, at least for the "Seagull" Andrei Mikheev will become an important member and will be able to help his team.
