The trainers of the boy saw the talent in the young talent and helped to make him the first steps to a successful career.

The first adult steps

After training, the talented defender was waiting for two years of renting to the clubs of the second division, but in the championship of 1999/2000 the leadership of "Vanguard" decided to try out Sazonov in the main team, declaring him for the season. In the Super League, the young Omsk adapted quickly and easily - he was often trusted by the coach of the "eagles" Gennady Tsygurov, as a result of which the ice hockey player came out regularly enough, playing a total of 12 matches of the regular championship. But the experience of playing in defense Sazonov clearly was not enough, and the next two seasons, the defender held in three different clubs a division below - after the Saratov "Crystal" Chelyabinsk "Mechel" and Kurgan "Mostovik" followed, where the hockey player regularly received the game practice.

Chelyabinsk Tale

Alexander Sazonov, whose biography is primarily associated with the Chelyabinsk "Tractor", was in his main team in his career in 2002. At that time, the "bears" performed in the Higher League of the Russian Championship, and the arrival of a young and very ambitious defender came to their advantage. In the first season Sazonov Alexander proved himself to the head coach, having played his first 30 matches for "Tractor", and every year he added in his game, increasing not only the amount of playing time, but also his effectiveness.

As a result, in four seasons the Chelyabinsk team managed to break into the Super League of the Russian Championship, becoming the champion of the Major League in 2006, when Sazonov scored a significant contribution to the success, which was noted with 13 score points. These 4 years became for Alexander an excellent springboard in career, and, despite of weight of offers on transition to other club, it remained in "Tractor".

At a higher level, at first Chelyabinsk was not easy, and places in the second top ten of the championship for 4 consecutive years were a regularity for the team. In 2011, "Tractor" took up the renewal of the team, and in May of the same year Alexander Sazonov decided to change the club by going to NizhneKamsk "Neftekhimik" at the end of the current season.

Life after the "Tractor"

As part of the "heroes," the Russian also spent just one season, the next year, having played in "Motorist", and in 2013, having accepted the offer of the team of the NHL - Tyumen "Rubin". As part of the new club, Alexander was one of the main stars of the defense team and brought a significant contribution to the game, "Rubin", becoming the bronze medalist of the championship for the 2013/2014 season. After the termination of the contract with the Tyumen club, Alexander Sazonov spent some time looking for a new club, considering first of all the KHL, but, not finding worthy offers, completed his career, leaving a significant mark in Russian hockey, including in the clubs for which he was speaking .
