Rubber paint - a new finishing material

The rapid development of science in the last century has led to the creation of a huge number of artificial materials that have taken a firm place in people's daily lives. And, of course, these materials have found application in construction, because they have inaccessible natural building materials qualities, but at the same time, as a rule, much cheaper. One of such modern materials is rubber paint. It gives a lot of opportunities to builders and designers.

Rubber paint appeared on the markets of the former Soviet Union relatively recently and almost immediately gained immense popularity. If at first its application was limited to auto-tuning (as a mastic for protecting the body from corrosion), now it confidently conquers the reputation of being universal, suitable for almost any coating and any conditions.

Popularity is provided by its unique properties, the most important of which is elasticity. After drying, the rubber paint forms a flexible protective layer. He is not afraid of kinks, does not crack and does not peel. And its elasticity rubber paint keeps in a wide range of temperatures: from + 60 to -50 degrees Celsius! In addition, it has good adhesion, literally welded to the surface, which provides a fantastic ten-year lifespan! Rubber paints do not burn out and do not harden under the action of sunlight.

On the surface of the colored material, a fairly strong film is created. Thanks to this, the rubber paint not only perfectly isolates the surface from the environment and moisture, but also strengthens it. So, for example, the life of a slate painted with such a paint increases several times. Of course, with these qualities, the use of rubber paint is very effective when restoring old or damaged surfaces. It, on the one hand, will strengthen, and on the other - will make their surface perfectly smooth.

Possessing excellent wear resistance, rubber paint has found application even in the preparation of sports and training halls, racetracks. Here, by the way, we have appreciated one more distinctive feature of it: it does not slip. Its properties allow you to paint even pools and paving slabs, and the paint not only improves the appearance of the tile, but also protects it from cracking under the influence of cold or water.

The only drawback of rubber paint can be called a relatively poor hiding power. However, the application of several layers easily alleviates this defect.

Since the rubber paint is water-based, it is absolutely harmless to humans and the environment.

The last in order, but by no means the least important, is the low material consumption. It is: for metal - 0.25 kg / m2, for wood - 0.3-0.5 kg / m2, for concrete and brick - 0.35-0.4 kg / m2, For slate and plaster - about 0,45 kg / sq. M. As a result, by the criterion of "expense-cost" rubber paint more than twice exceeds its competitors on an oil or other basis.

It will not be superfluous to mention that this paint is very versatile and suitable for painting almost all materials used in construction. In addition, it is very affordable, as it is offered by many retailers specializing in goods for construction.
