There are several options for how to make a rose from the fabric with your own hands. The easiest of them is the method of collecting flowers from petals made from squares, folded in a triangle. One petal of such a rose is made of four triangles. Changing their size, you can make a rose of absolutely any size. For miniature products, the elastic thin fabric is best suited : satin, lame, organza, lycra or chiffon. A medium-sized flower can be made from velvet or velor.
So, the rose from the fabric is made as follows. Cut four squares along the share line with sides equal to 12.5 cm, gently fold them in half on the wrong side diagonally and press. Now from the resulting triangles you need to collect a square. To do this, we put the first part of the curve bend up, we apply a second bend to the right, and then do the same with the remaining two. We sew them together so that the seam does not stand out. To attach the resulting square petal, it is necessary to sweep one side of it with small stitches. After applying the desired shape to the petal, fasten the thread. It is best that the folds of the triangles are turned outward.
To make the rose from the fabric more realistic and voluminous, you need to make petals of different sizes: the inner ones are the smallest ones, the middle ones are 1 to 1.5 centimeters larger, and the outer ones are 2 to 3 centimeters larger. The middle is made from a stripe cut by a scythe. It must be bent along and carefully ironed. Sweep away the slices, rounding the seam at the corners. Cut the corners at a distance of 5 mm from the seam. Tighten the thread until the strip is halved. Next, we form the bud, simply folding the part. After gently fix the ends of the strip, so that the mold does not dissolve. We begin to sew the smallest petals to the resulting core. So gradually attach all the rest. The more petals the rose has, the more it will look. Sew firmly to keep the product in shape. After the rose is ready, it is necessary to carve a circle of fabric, the diameter of which should be equal to the diameter of the base of the flower. Gently sew it to the back of the rose, covering them with stitches. The original rose is ready, now it remains to attach to the pillow, curtain or hat.
