Restoration of the passport: the main stages

2. While a new document is being issued, a person needs a temporary identity card. It must be issued on the day of treatment without any payment. This document is designed for 2 months.

3. If you have stolen a passport, you should immediately apply to the police station to cancel its validity and receive a ticket informing you that the inspection is over.

Restoring a passport without a residence permit

If a person has lost his passport, and he does not have a residence permit, the restoration is as follows:

1. It is necessary to visit the department of the Federal Migration Service, where a statement on the restoration of the passport should be written.

2. If a citizen has received a lost document in the same department where he applied for recovery, the new one is issued to him 10 days after the application was submitted, and if in the other, he can receive a duplicate in 2 months.

3. A person receives a temporary certificate of the Russian Federation. It will act until it receives a new document.
