Bidet. What is it: luxury or necessity?

Along with the shower and toilet bowl, the bidet is now a familiar item in the bathroom, not a sign of prosperity and luxury. Nevertheless, many questions during the planning and repair of the bathroom are caused by the purchase and installation of a bidet. Making the right choice is easy, especially if you know exactly what a bidet needs.

For large bathrooms, a hanging or floor stand is suitable. Where there is little space, it is better to install a built-in bidet or use special covers on a standard toilet. In extreme cases, a small shower with a hose, fixed on the wall next to the toilet, will perform the bidet function.

The bidet should certainly be comfortable to use and fit well with the bathroom interior, but it is most important to pay attention to the quality of the mixer. Water should have a constant temperature and not cause unpleasant sensations at the most inopportune moment.

Ordinary bidet. What it is?

Bidet is similar to a normal toilet, but without a tank. Has a special mixer located in the place where the toilet should have a tank, with cold and hot water supply taps. Due to the availability of this type of mixer, it is possible to perform those hygiene procedures for which it is intended. There are two ways of supplying water: from the tap above or below, from the back edge of the bowl. There are mixers with the function of supplying ordinary, intense, pulsating, soft water jets.

Sanitaryware or sanfarfor are made of bidet bowls. What it is, is well known to everyone by the example of ordinary toilets. The best option - sanfarfor with a dirt-repellent coating. The oval shape of the bidet is convenient and practical. But to pay attention when choosing a bowl on the form is absolutely not necessary. Well, if the bidet and toilet are combined with a style solution.

Suspended plumbing often involves a separate purchase of a water supply tap. The floor device, as a rule, is completed with a mixer. Support for the selected temperature mode with the thermostat can some expensive high-end models, but you will have to adjust the water supply pressure yourself.

Toilet bowl. What it is?

In reality, this model is both. Appearance completely corresponds to the usual toilet, but the water tank is larger and equipped with electronic control. Pressing the button turns the toilet in the bidet. From under the edge of the bowl appears a tube with a hole from which the water fountain beats. The problem with such plumbing is that the button can not be released all the time when using the device as a bidet. Some models do not require the supply of hot water, as they are equipped with an autonomous water heater.

Cover-bidet. What it is?

Another solution to save space in the bathroom is the installation of the bidet (bidana). This nozzle is on a standard toilet, which is attached instead of the usual cover. On it are located all control buttons. But the bidan can not be installed on every toilet. Typically, choosing the model of the same manufacturer solves this problem. There are bidahans with mechanical control of the foot pedal.

To establish a bidet or not - everyone decides for himself. But of course, the bidet firmly took its place in the modern bathroom. It helps to maintain personal hygiene with comfort and health benefits.
