Replacing the clutch is difficult, but you need to know

Before you begin, you need to make sure that it is the clutch that stopped functioning. To test, you must press the pedal, and the part must open, which will make it easy to switch gears. If there is a characteristic squeak, then this is a clear sign that the clutch needs replacement. Also checked are the cables, the driven drive, the pedal itself and the drive shaft, since often the problem is in them.

The first thing to do is to disconnect the hydraulic cylinder and the battery. Then the machine is lifted with a jack or put on the stand. Use the container in which the liquid can drain from the transmission, and place it under the part. On the mechanism are electrical wires, which must also be turned off. If the hydraulic driven disk is outside this part, it is also disabled. The starter is also pulled off, after which the bolts on the clutch bell are loosened, and the transmission is removed.

The next step is to install the engine on the jack. To do this, bring it under the crankcase and install it. After this work is done, you will see the clutch itself. To remove it, unscrew the flywheel. Replacing the clutch involves checking the parts that are adjacent to it, as well as an engine that can leak oil. If any parts are worn out, they must be replaced. It may also be necessary to replace the master cylinder clutch, which is made by unscrewing it and installing a new one.

After the installation of the new clutch is completed, the rest of the parts must be replaced in the reverse order. The subsequent work of the car depends on this process. If something goes wrong, then the machine will fail.
