Description of the culture

Currant fruits are formed by brushes on the basis of one-year branches. Thus, for permanent fruiting, the presence of skeletal branches is required, in contrast to plants of black currant, in which annual increments should be constantly replaced. The harvest ripens on the bouquet branches, which have a fairly long productivity, the skeletal branches last longer and the whole plant lives longer. The roots of the red currant are in the depth, which allows the plant to always consume enough moisture. Planting crops is necessary on soils of light composition. Red currant is mostly self-pollinating. But in order to get a bigger harvest, you need to plant plants of different varieties.
