Proliferation of glandular epithelium is a serious threat to women's health!

The vagina and cervix is lined with a special tissue called a flat epithelium, which must be present in a healthy woman in the smear. However, with its excessive proliferation, the proliferation of glandular epithelium, which is characterized by the appearance of atypical cells, is diagnosed. This pathology can develop as a result of benign breast diseases, in which the rapid growth of tissues is accompanied by pain and unusual secretion. In addition, the proliferation of glandular epithelium can occur due to excessive exposure to female sex hormones, as well as various inflammations that are caused by a violation of microflora or urogenital infections. It should be noted that this condition in most cases does not represent a significant danger to women's health, but this does not mean that it should not be treated.

Hyperplasia of glandular epithelium

Hyperplasia of the endometrium is called a uterine disease, in which there is a
Proliferation of tissues, as well as changes in the structure of the mucosa and glands. This process is carried out by direct and indirect cell division and growth of cytoplasmic ultrastructure. The causes of hyperplasia include disorders of nervous regulation of metabolic processes, disruption of the work of the organs of internal secretion, influence on organs and tissues of growth stimulants, as well as hereditary predisposition. In most cases, endometrial hyperplasia, like the proliferation of glandular epithelium, is asymptomatic, but in some women it can provoke dysfunctional bleeding and symptoms of anemia such as weakness, dizziness, and decreased appetite.

Adenomatous polyps of uterus

An adenoma is a disease that is accompanied by a proliferation of the uterine membrane, the mucous membrane of the cervical canal and the formation of specific outgrowths - Polyps. In other words, it is the proliferation of glandular epithelium, which is localized in a specific place. Adenomatous uterine polyp is considered a precancerous condition, which occurs as a result of impaired production of the female sex hormone. However, other factors predispose to the development of this disease, for example, the chronic form of adnexitis and endometritis, as well as numerous abortions.

Symptoms and Treatment

The main symptoms of uterine polyps are bleeding, a feeling of discomfort during sexual intercourse, frequent pain and infertility. Treatment of the disease is performed surgically by excising the formation or curettage of the uterine cavity. Precancerous diseases of the female reproductive system can exist for a very long time, not manifesting themselves in any way. However, there are cases when atypical cells degenerate so rapidly into cancerous cells that it is already difficult to eliminate them, and sometimes it is completely impossible. Therefore at the first alarm signals it is necessary to visit the gynecologist and pass the necessary tests.
