If in the 20th century the most extraordinary horror films were zombie projects by Lucio Fulci and pictures like "Hell of Cannibals", the 21st century offers the viewer something incredible - a cycle of horror films by the Dutch director and screenwriter Tom Siks under the intriguing title "The Human Centipede" Unfamiliar world cinema public actors. "The Human Centipede 3" was rolled out in 2015, confirming the success of the adventurous idea of the creator.

The first episode

The first film in 2009, according to the structure of the narrative, could be considered an almost traditional "genre" horror about the unfortunate victims of an insane maniac, if not for the way that the crazy doctor sewed his victims into one organism, combining tightly their anuses and faces. To such were not ready not that the audience, but the whole crew (except for Sixx) and the actors involved in the work on the movie. "Human Centipede 3", however, like the second part, has surpassed the first film in all meanings and meanings.

Sequel

Released after two years of the sequel showed the viewer even more unhealthy extreme, more unjustified violence and unfortunate victims. At the same time, Tom Siksa brings to the second part the "element of the game": the horror is shot with direct postmodern references to the first part, with a clear claim to the author's cinema, there are fewer dialogues in it, and there are more statics. In the sequel, the actors involved in the first part practically did not migrate.

"The human centipede 3" was announced almost immediately after the release of the second episode, but shot it only recently, almost 5 years later, and the director again dramatically changed the course of the narrative.

The plot of the trikeweel

The head of the prison Bill Boss (actor Dieter Lazer) is not able to restore order in the institution entrusted to him by the state. Despite the fact that the Boss is cruel enough towards prisoners, the slightest signs of disobedience are severely punished, the prisoners answer even more to each violence. The prison indicators are extremely depressing. This state of affairs clearly does not satisfy the governor of the state (performed by Eric Roberts), so he puts Bill before the choice: either he will radically change the state of affairs, or he will be immediately dismissed from his post. Once in such a difficult situation, the prison governor agrees to test the idea that arose in the head of his assistant accountant Dwight (Lawrence R. Harvey), after viewing the two parts of the "Millipede". They decide to conduct an experiment and sew all those serving their sentence in one continuous chain. Such, at least, a strange plot has the film "The Human Centipede 3". Lawrence Harvey, along with Dieter Lazer, performed the main roles in horror.

Postmodernism in the square

Postmodernism of the second episode in the third part was squared. Not only that the main characters are watching the first two films, and Tom Sixx plays himself (by the way, very well), and besides the two main roles are embodied on the screen by the main actors of the previous parts of Dieter Laser with Lawrence Harvey. In addition, the picture is a cruel and evil satire, which literally gets to all: politicians, the powerful, doctors, ordinary people who prefer to turn a blind eye to any evil, the main thing is that it is not happening with them and not in front of them. According to some world critics (this was confirmed by the actors shot in the film as well), "Human Centipede 3" is quite a clever film production, the shock in which is needed not only for the public interest.

Actors' Ensemble

Speaking about the advantages of trikvel, one can not but note the participation in the project of actor Clayton Rochner. His impressive filmography, consisting primarily of horror films (Night Curse, Fighter, Murder Cold, Mad), allowed the actor to feel at ease during the filming of even the most violent scenes. Although for the audience, Clayton Rohner is better known as the performer of episodic roles in the most popular TV series of the 1990s: "The Secret Materials", "Beverly Hills", "First Aid".

However, it was not possible to eclipse the star of Dieter Laser with someone from the actor's ensemble. He was very good in both the first episode and the trickle. His character is reminiscent of a man who has stumbled from unlimited power, talking with hysterical howls or screams. The hero has neither principles nor morality, he is ejected from within by a thirst for domination over all those around him. At the same time, at the slightest danger Bill Boss is like a frightened jackal. This unbearable and extremely unpleasant character was played by Lazer fantastically. During the viewing, each watcher literally half an hour after the beginning of the film will want to strangle the bast himself, or turn off the film. And here it is necessary to realize that it was precisely this effect that Tom Six was counting on.
