Amorph bushes - a plant that primarily has an anesthetic and soothing effect. Amorpha (Amorpha fruticosa) is a perennial shrub that reaches a height of 2 meters, rarely a plant grows to a height of 6 meters). Refers to the family of legumes, has received wide application in medicine.

This deciduous shrub has pinnate leaves, reaching a length of 30 cm and consisting of small elongated leaves. Branches and shoots are green, hairy, they become brown after wintering. Amorphous shrubby when it rubs with fingers exudes a specific pronounced smell of essential oils. The flowers of the shrub are rather small, they are found in long and dense inflorescences of racemose form and have a dark purple color. All the stamens in the flower are fused, aft one. Amorphous habitat conditions

This plant of the legume family is drought-resistant and light-loving, not very choosy. It grows quietly in dry soils and very easily tolerates practically any unfavorable environment (dust, heat, gas contamination of air). Frosts also do not have a strong negative effect on the bush, it is able to withstand a temperature of -20 degrees. There is a need for sanitary pruning of plants and haircuts.

In the wild, amorphous shrubs grow in North America (Canada, almost the entire US territory). Cultivated amorph grows on the territory of Western Europe, Ukraine (in its southern regions) and Russia. If you properly limit the root shoots, you can use amorph as a curb, a fence or a hedge. With the help of plants, ravines and steep slopes are also fortified, often planted along highway and railroads. Planted in parks and recreational areas to decorate the landscape. With insufficient care the plant is wild and can become dangerous invasive (as, for example, in the USA).
