The reason for such a huge popularity of a pencil skirt is that it fits almost any figure, emphasizing slender legs, feminine hips and hiding all that is superfluous. Especially in this the skirt-pencil with the overestimated waist succeeds , the pattern of which is constructed very simply.

Patterns of a pencil skirt today can be found in any magazine, and you can draw it yourself, based on the features of the figure. For the base, you can take a straight skirt. There will be few differences, but only two. First, along the side seam, the pencil skirt should slightly narrow. And secondly, you need to leave the allowance for the formation of the spline or cut in the rear, so that the new thing does not hamper the movement, yet providing a unique graceful gait.

Let's start by dividing into the front and back. For example, we need to sew a skirt of the 40th size, 60 cm long. We set this value down along the middle line of the back part. Also, on the middle part of each of the skirts of the skirt, we lay aside 10 centimeters for the coquette and conduct horizontal lines through the points obtained. And along the side slices, we will postpone one and a half centimeters upward, to determine the degree of narrowing.

We grind the side cuts, process the top, form the clasp and slot of the skirt. Only after this, we fold and sew the bottom - it's best to do it manually. Sew the button and hole for it.
