The cabin described by MAZ is designed for two people - the driver and the passenger. At the back was a sleeping bag. Also truckers installed here and the second sleeping shelf. For those who traveled alone, she became a small closet, where you could put things.

The seats in the standard MAZ are not designed for long distances. And in view of the lack of lumbar and lateral support, the drivers strongly swollen back. The only way out was the installation of other seats, with foreign cars (for example, with "Scania" or "Volvo"). Also in the cockpit there was no air conditioning, although there was a mechanical hatch. But it is not enough to ensure normal ventilation in the cabin.

In terms of fuel consumption, MAZ was the most economical Soviet tractor.

For a hundred kilometers, the car spends between 29 and 32 liters of fuel. The machine was equipped with a fuel tank for 350 liters. It was also possible to install an additional tank, which allowed to increase the total volume to 500 liters.
