Oophoritis: treatment, prognosis, symptoms

Oophoritis is a severe inflammation of the ovaries, which often extends to the fallopian tubes. The causative agents may be streptococci or staphylococci, tuberculosis bacteria, gonococci, other bacteria.

During the disease, enlarged in size due to inflammation, the fallopian tube forms numerous spikes with the ovaries, sometimes turning into a dense conglomerate. The pus that forms with this inflammation is released from the tube and gradually dissolves the tissues of the ovaries.

Intoxication, which is the result of a purulent process, can cause:

- headaches, dizziness;

- pale skin;

- weakness, with severe attacks of pain - blurred consciousness.

Causes of the disease:

· Re-infection after salpingitis;

· The presence of various infections in the body;

• promiscuous sexual intercourse;

· Violation of hygiene during menstruation;

Complications after childbirth, abortion.

Very often, oophoritis, whose treatment is prolonged for a long time, can lead to violations of the menstrual cycle, miscarriages.

Oophoritis can be acute and chronic.

Acute inflammation often begins with the onset of a monthly cycle. Manifestations:

- a sharp paroxysmal or not passing pain in the lower back and in the lower part of the abdomen;

- upset urination caused by inflammation;

- abundant leucorrhoea with an admixture of pus or bloody discharge;

Bleeding between menstruation;

- high temperature, fever.

If the diagnosis is "oophoritis," the treatment should be followed immediately. In order for it to be successful, a thorough examination of the patient, the appointment of tests to determine which causative agent caused the disease "oophoritis". Treatment will depend on this.

In the acute stage, the following treatment is indicated:

· Bed rest,

· Antibiotics, the direction to destroy the pathogen,

· Ice on the bottom of the abdomen,

· Vitamins, immunomodulators,

· Resorptive drugs, i.e. Directed against the formation of adhesions,

• if necessary, treatment aimed at eliminating intoxication,

· Massage,

· Physiotherapy.

Acute oophoritis, whose treatment was ineffective, goes into a chronic stage.

Chronic oophoritis can often be triggered not only by improper treatment, but also by overwork, various infectious diseases, frequent changes of sexual partners, hypothermia.

In the chronic course of the disease, women feel constant pain in the lower abdomen, which increases with sexual intercourse. Menstrual cycle is broken.

Chronic oophoritis, whose treatment is not started on time, can cause insomnia, fatigue, fatigue.

The neglected form of the disease often leads to infertility.

If an abscess forms during the illness, surgery may be recommended until the ovaries are removed.

How else can I treat oophoritis? Treatment with folk remedies in the absence of medications can lead to a worsening of the condition. However, the use of folk methods as auxiliary is entirely permissible, unless the doctor believes otherwise.

Milk baths

Fresh cabbage leaves are brewed in fresh home milk. They pour into a basin or a bucket, they sit down so as not to get burned. Wrap the bottom part with a wool blanket, warm up well, until the milk cools.

Infusion against inflammation

Mix in equal proportions dry donnik, mother-and-stepmother, gold-thousander. Brew the mixture so that a spoonful of dry composition had a glass of water. A few hours are allowed to stand, then squeeze out. Drink a third of the glass every three hours.

Douching

Equal proportions of oak bark, mistletoe, water pepper, chamomile and nettle are brewed as tea. For syringing use a warm broth.

When diaznog "oophoritis" is better not to delay with the appeal to the doctor, so that the disease does not become complicated.
