New Year comedies: the time of miracles

Before the onset of this long-awaited holiday, which makes everyone again and again at least briefly, but return to childhood, believe in miracles and make wishes for a chimera battle, the best New Year comedies are usually shown on television. Well, and then during the January holidays (good, they are now announced not only for schoolchildren, but also for adults), it is only necessary to click on the channels a bit - and here you are comedies, New Year's and Christmas's, - whatever soul you like.

With irony and without

Already, probably, no one represents these days without the film masterpiece "Irony of Fate, or With Easy Steam!". Unfortunately, this year Russia has remained without Hippolytus, the remarkable artist Yuri Yakovlev. But still, once again, at least from the corner of my eye, even during the cutting of another salad, but the housewives will look at the adventures of a drunk doctor in Leningrad, but what about without it! It's a pity, the sequel to the picture turned out to be out of hand, it would be better and did not shoot it at all. The XXI century presented the audience with a worthy change of "Irony ...", a whole galaxy of "Yolok" with the broken Urgant and Svetlakov. These film almanacs are both soulful and full of wonderful gags - real comedies, New Year's in addition.

When everything is too much

From old kind films it is worth remembering the invariable and ageless "Carnival Night" with the dazzlingly young Gurchenko and later television "Wizards", a kind of Soviet fantasy. Touching and another comedy in the same style - "New Year's Tariff". The plot is borrowed from the state "House by the Lake". In love with Alain and Andrew (wonderful Valeria Lanskaya and Maxim Matveyev) are separated from each other ... 365 days. Young people communicate by cell phone with a special tariff, only He lives in the future. And on the eve of the next New Year hero is simply obliged to save his girlfriend, otherwise what kind of a holiday it will turn out?

New Year comedies Russian and American (those are more still about Christmas troubles), differ from each other, and quite noticeably. The staff of the States have more eccentrics - as in the immortal tapes of Gaidai at the time. These are the "Christmas holidays" with Chevy Chase. The restless master of the house, Clarke Griswold is trying his best to arrange a grandiose celebration for the home, but he makes a little more effort than he needs to. As a result, the tree glows - in the literal sense of the word. But the long-suffering garland closed - and go, check all 25 thousand light bulbs! But Drew Letam from the tape "Survive Christmas" decided to celebrate the good old holiday in his own way. He hired himself a family (he does not own his own) and comes off to the fullest! Not the best role of Ben Affleck, but the film is funny.

Anti-celebrities

With the plot of "anti-celebration" begins its narrative "Christmas with losers", which, undoubtedly, can be classified as "comedy New Year". The characters played by Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, decided that this time they would do without traditional Christmas tricks. It was not like that, the neighbors united against such an outrageous act. Tim Allen, by the way, - the deserved Santa USA, he portrayed this wizard already in three "Santa Clauses" - also comedies, New Year's! We do not recognize Jim Carrey in a green make-up (for makeup, by the way, the film received Oscar) Grinch (the picture "Grinch - the thief of Christmas"). This sociopath fiercely hates Christmas and everything related to these wonderful days. However, he will have to believe in good things. Well, as in this review, to refrain from mentioning two parts (the third turned out to be unsuccessful) of the film "Alone at home"! The adventures of a brave little boy Kevin accidentally forgotten by relatives have long left no one indifferent. Comedy? New Year's? Certainly!
