Nakhimovskoe Lake - a reservoir in the Leningrad Region

In Leningrad region in Vyborgsky district, not far from the village of Pervomaiskoye, there is the most beautiful Nakhimovsky lake. The original name of the reservoir is Sula-Järvi (translated from Finnish sulla - cormorant, j'rvi - lake). Most likely, it was baptized so because of the cormorants that live here. Later the lake was renamed Nakhimovskoe, after the name of the school, located on the western shore of the lake. The educational institution, in turn, received its name in honor of the military admiral Nakhimov.

Fauna

Nakhimov Lake is famous for its beauty, but not only. It is also connected by a river to the Gladyshevsky lake, in which rare fish species live. You can also cook in the dining room on the camp site.
