The mountains of the Chelyabinsk region are a mountain system connecting the East European and West Siberian Plains. Surprising is the fact that the Chelyabinsk region has the oldest mountain on the whole planet, which has the amusing name Pencil. It is located in the Kusinsky district. For many, this fact is surprising. Chelyabinsk is really an opening in this field.

The only negative thing was that some plants started using these lakes for waste disposal, which has a very negative impact on the ecological situation. In winter, on the slopes of the mountain is equipped with a ski resort, where you can spend your time perfectly.

Mount Cherry received its name thanks to the wild cherry growing at its foot. Every year, a lot of berries are collected here.

Mount Jurm

Mount Jurm (Chelyabinsk region) is located in the northern part of the Southern Urals. Its height is 1003 meters. In this part of the central park one can observe a slight decrease. The mountain borders on the hilly relief of the north-eastern region of the Chelyabinsk region. The lowlands are characterized by the presence of flat-topped mounds, which are divided by valleys. On the southern slope, the mountain Jūrma connects with the northern part of the Big Taganá to the Great Log. Here you can also find forest mixed massifs. Among the trees dominated by maple, lime and mountain elm.

Earlier in these places, exclusively broad-leaved forests grew, but today the fir taiga is in their place.

From the Bashkir language, Jurm is translated as "do not go." This is a kind of a warning that climbing a mountain can carry danger.

In these places, high humidity prevails, which forms a condensate, so that at the dawn in the valley numerous clouds gather.
