Moscow Institute of Banking (IIBD): reviews. Directions and specialties, accreditation

In the 1990s, non-state universities began to appear in our country in connection with large-scale transformations. One of them was the Moscow Institute of Banking (IIBD). For over 20 years he has been working and preparing economists and managers. To enter here or not is a question that arises among applicants when considering this institution. To find the answer, let's get acquainted with this institution more closely.

Briefly about the university

Moscow Institute of Banking has been training students in higher education since 1996. The university is located, as the name suggests, in the capital of our country. The institution has several buildings. They are located in accessible areas of Moscow at the following addresses:

  • In the street Gabrichevskogo, 3, building. 3;
  • On the street 14-th Parkovo, 6;
  • On the street of the 14th Parkovaya, 8.

All buildings are properly equipped. In the premises there are lecture halls, computer classes with modern equipment and licensed computer programs. There is a library in the university. It is supplied with a large number of books and periodicals. For students, an electronic library system has also been created, in which there are more than 8,000 different publications and journals.

It is especially worth noting that the Moscow Institute (MIIB) of banking conducts not only educational, but also scientific activity. Specialists working in the university are engaged in:

  1. Perfection of the forms of training, development of new innovative technologies for the educational sphere. This is necessary in order to prepare highly qualified specialists.
  2. The study of topical issues related to the management and financial and economic sciences, such as finance, banking, etc.

License and accreditation

Applicants for admission to any university look at the availability of a license and a certificate of state accreditation. These are important documents that allow the school to teach students, provide them with various benefits and issue state-recognized diplomas. The Institute has the right to conduct educational activities, because it has a license from March 3, 2016 for an indefinite period.

But with the accreditation of the university problems. In 2015, the Rosobrnadzor conducted inspections in the IIBD. Accreditation as a result has been withdrawn because of the revealed infringements. Now the institute can not provide its students with a postponement from the army and issue diplomas of the state pattern to graduates. The university appealed to the court to declare invalid the order of Rosoboradzor. However, the proceedings did not bring any result. At the moment the university has only a license.

Directions of training, specialty

The Moscow Institute, which prepares specialists for economics and management, continues its activities and invites applicants to study. The university offers only 2 directions in the bachelor's degree - "Economics" and "Management". On the first of them, students can choose the profile most interesting for them - "Bukh. Accounting, analysis and audit "or" Credit and finance ". In the second direction there is only one profile. This is "Financial Management".

Training in the above-mentioned areas of training is carried out on day and in absentia. Distance learning is also offered to students. To implement it, the IIBI created a training portal. On it for students electronic manuals, video lectures, presentations are loaded. Through the training portal are handed over control and test tasks, communication with the teacher is carried out.

Admission tests and minimum scores

In both areas of training, the same exams are given. This is mathematics, the Russian language and social studies. Graduates of schools are accepted on the basis of the results of the USE, and graduates of colleges and universities pass entrance examinations at the institute in the form of tests developed by the university.

For admission to the educational institution, it is enough to score the minimum number of points. This is the result for the top three. In Russian, 36 points are sufficient, in mathematics - 27, in social studies - 42.

Feedback from students about their studies

On the study at the Moscow Institute of Banking, the reviews are diverse, but most of them contain negative opinions about the institution. Students complain about the indifferent attitude of employees. Some teachers are rude, unprofessional conduct training sessions. The staff of the dean's office does not give the necessary information to the students on the issues of interest. Students have to learn everything themselves.

Some feedback about the studies is positive. In them, students evaluate the training portal available at MIMS. They also note some teachers who try to help the students, want to transfer some of their knowledge, skills and life experience to them. Such students are grateful to such people.

MIIBD: reviews of the hostel

The Moscow Institute of Banking has no building in which it could make a hostel. Despite this, the university provides housing to needy students. The educational institution has an agreement with the "Single Placement Center" - a limited liability company, which has a network of student hostels in the capital of our country.

Hostels have everything you need for a comfortable stay and study, as evidenced by the MIIB reviews. The buildings have furniture, modern equipment. Living in dormitories is safe, because the buildings are under constant surveillance and protection. To get a student's home, who need it, they receive a referral in the admissions office. Payment is carried out at the rates set by the "Single Placement Center".

MIIBD: feedback on extracurricular work

The Moscow City Institute strives not only to make professional students from students, but also to bring up personality in each of them. For this purpose, the university is engaged in extracurricular activities. It includes various activities. For example, conducted in the university Internet lessons of anti-drug orientation. Students learned about what addiction can lead to, they received useful advice on where to apply for help (for themselves or for their close people, relatives, friends).

Students take part in events held on the Day of the Great Victory - May 9. The students are given a festive program. In it, they choose activities for participation. For example, those who wish can participate in a flash mob and perform the song "Victory Day", write a letter to the past, etc.

In conclusion, it should be noted that it is impossible to say unambiguously whether it is worth entering this university or not. This should be decided for each applicant by reading and analyzing reviews about MIAM. The only thing I would like to note is that there is an opinion that the education received in a non-state institution is substandard. So do not only think those students who study in public universities. Employers are of the same opinion. Some of them deny graduates of non-state universities and seek candidates with a high-quality education.
