Mazarin tomato - from the garden to the table

Tight poured tomato fruit ... Their amazing taste and aroma, flowing on the fingers of juice and unforgettable from childhood feelings of happiness and sweetness in the mouth. In my environment, I did not meet people who did not like tomatoes in general, in any form: from beds, canned, ground into juice or in various salads and snacks.

Sweet yellow varieties ... or rounded, regular shape and beautiful red fruit with sourish ... firm, elongated, small in size and ideally suited for twisting tomatoes of a stunning shade: as if they mixed a bright sunny red color and added a cold blue of a frosty morning.

Ode to tomatoes can be sung endlessly. For the benefit, for the tremendous taste, for the bright childhood memories, for the pleasure and pleasure to see how your works are rewarded with heavy clusters of bunches on the bushes. But labor in every fruit, every tomato is invested oh how much.

In the past few years, many members of the forum openly recognize Mazarin tomatoes in the top ten and favorite varieties. And advise to try to land these tomatoes and neighbors, and just friends. I propose to understand why and why this variety is popular, how and when to plant it, and what should come of it.

On the label with seeds "Variety Mazarin" adorns a beautiful tomato full of crimson color, in shape very much like a strawberries, only many times more. Firms-suppliers suggest to plant this tomato both in an open ground, and in hothouses.

The tomato variety of Mazarin belongs to the indeterminate (stamping) type. Those. This bush, growing, expels a lot of lateral branches, called stepchildren. These stepsons must necessarily break off, thus forming one, rarely two or three main trunks, on which then bunches of tomato will be formed.

The variety has a bright taste, the fruits of the first (the lowest) brush reach 700-800 gr, the fruit of the uppermost brushes is smaller, pulling 300-400 gr. The flesh of Mazarin tomato is sugary, juicy, pleasant to the taste. Seeds are small in comparison with other varieties in tomato itself.

To obtain the best organoleptic properties, it is better to act according to the recommendations of the packer companies and plant this variety in the open ground in the south of Russia, and in the greenhouses in the middle band.

A single opinion of all vegetable growers who planted these tomatoes does not exist. Some have uniquely credited Mazarin's tomato to their favorite, selected and planted every year varieties, others for various reasons are not very satisfied with the taste of tomato and the strength of the skin.

But practically all gardeners converge in one, the variety is really resistant to various diseases caused by phytophthora. Another plus: this variety belongs to the largest early varieties, and if the bushes are not planted tightly (about three bush per square meter), and leave one, and with good feeding two (rarely three) main trunks, the fruits are really obtained by large And succulent.

The variety perfectly tolerates heat: 40-degree heat does not affect the productivity of bushes.

The tomato Mazarin in the greenhouse reaches almost two meters, in the open ground - about one and a half meters. It is better to leave no more than 4 bunches on the trunk, otherwise the tomatoes will not be as large as stated.

Plant seeds in prepared land usually in late February - mid-March. In a month you will see four beautiful green leaves. Leaves of the Mazarin variety are very similar to carrot: narrow and elongated. Ready for planting in the soil seedlings looks like a small bush with strong full-length leaves.

The golden rule of the gardener: do not plant seedlings in the ground, if you are not sure that the warm snacks will not be frosted, otherwise the fruits of your labors will turn black and die. Approximately 110-115 days after the emergence of seedlings on adults planted in the ground or in the greenhouse, fruit will begin to ripen.

Mazarin tomato is perfect for salads. So a couple of these bright, ripe, with a shiny skin and a fragrant flesh of vegetables can fully feed the whole family. Bon Appetit!
