Mausoleum of Mao Zedong: address, mode of operation, photo

Mao Zedong's mausoleum is not bypassed by virtually no tourist who has visited China. People write that visiting such a place will give terrible impressions, but on the other hand it is an eternal memory, a tribute to the Great Helmsman and the best of all available opportunities to get acquainted with the history of this country.

Who is Mao Zedong?

For a long time this man was overbearing over millions of people, he decided how and in what conditions they would live, and, I should say, did it in good faith. The leader of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China (he founded it in 1921) and a teacher by education from 1921 to 1925, Zedong very actively created peasant alliances in the villages. Later, in 1928-1934, Mao founded the Chinese Soviet Republic in rural areas in the south of Central China, and when it was defeated, he headed the Great March to the north of the state.

After the victory in 1949 of the Communists over Chiang Kai-shek (military and political figure of China), Zedong becomes the head of the PRC, but still remains chairman of the CPC Central Committee. In the period from 1957 to 1958 years. Mao presents a program of socio-economic development. Later it will be called a "big leap", which played a huge role for the state. The essence of the project was the equal distribution of income and the creation of a system of material incentives. But alas, this was the reason for the deteriorating economic situation in the country.

Nevertheless, Mao Zedong is a man who united the state and made it friendly after so many conflicting years. He improved the welfare of his people, even if his actions often led to deplorable situations. Once, Mao assessed the actions of Stalin: 30% of mistakes and 70% of victories. Now this proportion characterizes his activity.

Death of the great Chinese figure

The mausoleum of Mao Zedong should not exist. In 1956, the great leader signed a document on which the posthumous cremation of all leaders was offered. But his body was embalmed for future generations.

Mao Zedong died on September 9, 1976. For the Chinese, this day was gloomy, like no other, millions of people mourned and hard experienced their loss. Even despite the difficult times that caused Mao's actions, his legacy is still very symbolic for Chinese citizens.
