Mating of dogs. What the breeders should know

Every professional breeder simply has to know how to knit dogs. It would seem that the process is completely natural and has been completely incorporated by nature in the animal genes. Is the role of the owner in this situation also important? Yes, and very much so. After all, breeding dogs in the wild and at home is very different. Let's take a closer look at the basic nuances that every owner of a thoroughbred dog or a bitch should know.

Every year, everyone is sure to watch from time to time the so-called "dog weddings", when one female chasing a whole flock of males. Such a picture arises only if the bitch does not belong to any particular group of animals. After all, then it usually already has in advance a pair of dominant individuals of the opposite sex. And even before the female begins the period of estrus. Pairing dogs in this case occurs approximately as follows. At first the bitch does not admit the male close to him. Moreover, she can even bite him. However, if the dog is pleasant to her, and also a sign, then soon the next period comes. The bitch ceases to run furiously from his "cavalier", and he in turn takes the so-called "asking" pose. It looks like this. The animal presses its chest against the ground and stretches one foreleg in the direction of the partner. After that, the original games or courtship courtship begin. Animals chase each other, behave playfully and very friendly. In this case, the dog from time to time can make attempts to set (so called pairing dogs, when the male takes a posture for frictions). At the end of the bitch reaches an extreme degree of excitement and no longer tries to break away from his partner. The male penetrates into it, while fixing the animal with its front paws, so that the inexperienced female does not attempt to wriggle out. In the process there comes a moment of splitting, when the internal muscles of the bitch practically tightly fix the male inside. It can last up to several hours (an average of 20 minutes).

Since the pairing of dogs at home is quite spontaneous, animals practically do not have time to get to know each other. Sometimes they are not allowed to even sniff before knitting. If you let the whole process into its own right, the consequences can be very sad. For example, a dog will perceive even a female in the stage of a strong estrus hostile, as it penetrated into its territory. Or frightened by a sharp change in the situation, the bitch not only will not allow a partner to come to her, but also completely cut off the desire for mating with a gross refusal. In any case, to the whole procedure as a result, the animals will take a lot of time, which the owners may well not be. In this case, the owners of dogs are forced to act in a somewhat unnatural way.

The owner of the bitch rigidly fixes her in the most comfortable for the dog pose. The owner of the second animal makes sure that it is constantly in arousal not only from the type of the finished partner, but also the smell of its secretions. Owners have to severely suppress any attempts to courtship and rutting, as well as the so-called "puppy" cage (in front and side). When the mating of dogs has already occurred, the bitch is recommended to leave in a muzzle until the gluing takes place. Otherwise, because of unpleasant sensations, she may well become angry with the dog and maim him.

The breeding male must learn how to get excited quickly without any preliminary courtship. However, if the owners are dealing with an inexperienced animal, then it may well be too early to "give your best." If the dog shows signs of overexcitation (excessive fussiness, repeated and unsuccessful attempts to plant, etc.), then it is better to take the dog out for a while to the street. Otherwise, it will take him hours to recover.
