Master class on beading. Beading technology. Tips for Beginners

Beading is an exciting activity that allows creating unique ornaments, accessories and decor items. Especially beautiful and bright are obtained from bugles flowers - violets, hyacinths, gladioli and, of course, roses.

In this article we will present a simple and detailed master-class on beading. At first glance, you might think that it's very difficult to create a rose from beads. However, if you carefully read the description of the work and learn how to weave individual petals and leaves according to the scheme, you will understand that even a beginner can make this delicious flower.

Beading for beginners. With schemes, a master class for making roses

To perform this magnificent craft, you will first need to purchase the necessary tools and materials, as well as prepare the workplace. So, you will need:

  • Beads (preferably cut) two shades - pink (150 g) and lilac (30 g) for flowers;
  • Beads of green color - for petals (100 g);
  • Wire of different thickness - thin (0.5 mm, 1.5 mm) and thick;
  • pliers;
  • scissors;
  • Floristic ribbon;
  • A vase or a stand.

We advise you to purchase quality Czech beads for work. It is slightly cheaper than Japanese and completely eliminates the loss of color. In addition, it has excellent quality and guarantees a long product life. For the manufacture of roses we advise you to buy a cylindrical bead - faceted chopping. It has a special sparkling shine under natural and artificial light. Flowers from such beads will look especially luxurious. The color of the beads you can choose any, such as you like. We used pink and lilac glass beads. After preparing all the necessary tools and materials, we begin work.

French axial weaving

In order to weave the inflorescence of roses, you will need to first learn the techniques of beading, namely circular French technique. It is completely uncomplicated, and most importantly - perfectly suited for making petals and leaves of round shape. The principle of the French axial weaving is as follows. First, a large loop is made on the wire, from which the two ends of the working wire, called the "axis" (about 7 cm long) and "low" (70 cm long), must come off. On both ponytails, the main and additional, string a certain amount of beads. For example, on the axis - 6 pcs., And on the low - 9 pcs. Then the additional wire is twisted around the main one in such a way that an angle of 45 ° is obtained between them. The first arc is obtained. Further on, a small number of beads are recruited again. The end of the working wire again flattens the axis, but from below. By analogy, all other arcs are executed, and the number of beads in them gradually increases. Step-by-step beadwork (French axial) is clearly shown in the following figure.

Let's start creating flower petals

We begin our master class on beading of roses. Based on the theory, first we begin to perform the petals of the flower. To do this, take a pink and purple glass bead. Cut off the wire length of about 70 cm. From one end we form a small wire junction and twist the wire, until we get a segment equal to 2 cm. Remove the unnecessary piece with scissors. We string 10 beads. Fix them by twisting the end of the wire on the other side and forming the bottom loop of the base. Further on the end of the working wire we string 13 beads and make the first arc. The second is done in exactly the same way, typing on it as many beads. Continue to do arcs by analogy, gradually adding the amount of bugles so that it closes the axis. We fix all the arcs, twisting the wire around the base. As a result, you should get the first petal. It should consist of 12 arcs. Now take the lilac beads. Cut the wire and put it in the base of the eye. We type the desired number of beads into two working ends and make the last two arcs. That's all, the petal is made. For one pink bud you need about 10 such petals. We hope that our master class on beadwork does not cause you any difficulties yet.

We continue work on the creation of flower petals

In order to make the rose more realistic, it is necessary to weave petals and other sizes. We will need:

  • 3 petals made with a base of 10 beads of 5 arcs;
  • 3 petals with a base in 12 beads of 6 arcs;
  • 6 petals with a base in 14 beads of 7 arcs.

When all the blanks are ready, proceed to assembling the bud. We give the natural form of the petals. Next, twist the two small-sized petals and add a third to them. It turns out the core of the flower. Gradually add all the other petals, not forgetting to twist the ends of the wires well. As a result, you should get a beautiful pink bud. Due to the large number of bugles the product can not keep the shape and disintegrate. Therefore, we advise you to take an adhesive gun and glue the petals or sew them together with threads.

Create leaves and sepals of roses in the technique of circular weaving

After the bud, we start making leaflets. A step-by-step beadwork of them is as follows. First, cut off a piece of wire 70 cm long. We string on it some green beads. Count 9 beads and make a loop, fixing it with turns of the two ends of the wire between each other. We get the first tier. Next, by analogy, we create five more tiers and get the first leaf. We give it a pointed shape. We cut off the wire, leaving tips about 5 cm long. To carry out one rose, 17 such leaves are required. In addition, we need 5 sepals. They are performed in the technique of French circular weaving in the same way as ordinary leaves. In work, you can follow the following scheme.

We weave twigs of a flower

After the manufacture of leaves, we proceed to the formation of twigs. In total, we will have 5 - three small, containing three leaves, and two more. The latter will have four leaves. So, to decorate the branches, take a floral ribbon of green color. We cut off a piece of wire and tie the first leaf to it. The subsequent details are fixed on the stem by analogy. Thus we create five branches - with three and four leaves. Now make two large twigs - connect one with three, and the other - with four leaves using a floral tape. We repeat the operation. As a result, you should get two large twigs and one small one.

Beading: a master class. Let's start assembling the product

After all the details of the craft - a bud, sepals and twigs - will be ready, you can proceed with the assembly of the flower. Take a piece of thick wire and reel it with floristic tape inflorescence. Then we attach sepals to the bud. Now to the stem of the flower we tie the first small twig consisting of three leaves. And then in turn we attach large branches to the flower. Carefully straighten all the details and give them a beautiful shape. That's all, the charming rose is ready! Now it remains to come up with a decent design for it. You can take any small capacity and decorate it to your taste. For example, paint it with acrylic lacquer and decorate with sequins. For reliable fixation of roses in the stand, you can use a conventional alabaster. How to do it? Dissolve gypsum with water and fill it half full. Place the stem of the flower. Wait until the alabaster solution "seizes". After drying, zadekoriruyte gypsum. For example, you can cover it with acrylic paint and pour over it a layer of beads.

Instead of concluding

So, in this article, we presented to your attention a simple and interesting master class on beading flowers, namely - a gorgeous tender pink rose. In the work we used the technique of circular French weaving. We hope, now you know that you can make a unique and very beautiful thing from beads, an element of decor that can decorate the interior of any home. Good luck to you and creative achievements!
