Natural Motives in the Contemporary Interior: Creating a Comfort by Sami

Let's start with the flowers. Holidays in the year, you agree, abound, which means that at least a couple of times a year in your house there are bright buds with greens. For them, the most beautiful vase is chosen, an honorable place is placed on the table. Dear roses, tulips, carnations, even carefully laid at night to sleep, to keep the freshness of the charming bouquet longer. But no matter how much they are not taken care of, the flowers still wither over time. This is absolutely normal, but in no way does not mean that you need to part with them.

Compositions of dried flowers also look great and add extra comfort to the interior. Just need to properly prepare the natural material. You can dry absolutely any plant. A win-win option is a book or press. However, as you know, your favorite petals and leaves will become flat and will be more useful for panels or paintings.

So, the composition is very fashionable and original, where the vase is made of hard material: glued and painted pieces of eggshells, shells, wire, or maybe buttons. The main thing is just to draw clearly the shape of the vase for the flowers and try to pick up the pieces of material in such a way that there remain as few slots as possible.

However, and this is not such a problem, if you approach it creatively. You can paint the empty space with paint, cover with lacquer points, drip glue and pour sequins, rhinestones or beads on top.

The second half of the composition, as you already guessed, will consist of a flower herbarium. Feel free to make compositions from a whole stem with a bud, and from separately attached leaves and petals. Remember only that flowers, especially dried, is a very fragile material. In your creative workshop there must be a pair of tweezers, a needle and small scissors.

The option that we just described is the most traditional one. He will brighten up to you not one minute at home, will remind you of happy minutes spent in nature. However, if you like experiments, you want to bring something in your interior that is not completely beaten, stylish and at the same time alive, try making a basket of branches, grass, leaves, buds and fill it with unnatural flowers.

The simplest, of course, is to cut them out of paper, but such work is more suitable for joint creativity with children, rather than for creating a truly worthwhile design picture. Therefore, take a good look at the objects around you and think about what could be useful to you as a material for future colors. Wire? The cloth? The beads? Feathers? Maybe even fur? Why not?

Feel free to experiment! Designers are not born, they become. And popular designers are those who try, try and try something new again and experience pleasure from it.
