"Lifan X50" 2014 - compact crossover from the company Lifan Motors

In automobile circles for a long time there were rumors that the company Lifan Motors plans to release another SUV. And in 2014 the world was presented with the crossover "Lifan X50". Reviews about him were at first the most controversial: some were mistrustful of the Chinese auto industry, others looked with enthusiasm at the updated model. And it is worth noting that it is not unreasonable. The car debut took place at the end of summer 2014, but it entered the Russian market in 2015.

Externally, the crossover "Lifan X50" resembles an SUV, mainly due to the increased ground clearance. The trapezoidal grille of the radiator fits perfectly into the overall concept. The bumper has a streamlined shape that is typical of the European style. Optics of the head light is unusual, it reminds "foxy eyes". Between them flaunts the corporate logo of the company, framed by chrome overlays. The anti-fog lamps are somewhat elongated, rectangular in shape.

Behind the car looks less massive. This feeling is achieved thanks to the U-shaped cargo door. Above the glass is a spoiler, the "stops" are located at the very bottom of the bumper, the headlamps are contrasted against the general background.

"Lifan X50" around the perimeter is framed by a plastic nozzle, which not only performs protective functions, but also decorative ones. The roof is arcuate, the side windows form a composition in the form of a drop, which is perfectly combined with the shape of the head optics.

Specifications

Engineers-designers have installed on the Lifan X50 two types of gasoline engines. One 103-horsepower engine, one and a half liters, four-cylinder, the second - 1.3 liters, squeezing capacity of 93 liters. from.

In addition, the first models of the crossover will be equipped with a manual gearbox for five stages or CVT variator (for an additional fee), the company plans to produce models with a box automatic. The speed limit is limited to 160-170 km / h. The fuel consumption is in the range of 6.5 liters.

However, to the chagrin of Russian motorists, in the domestic market it is possible to purchase only a complete set with an engine of 1.5. The second option is only for domestic sales. At present it is still difficult to lay down an objective judgment about the car "Lifan X50". Feedback from owners who have already bought a novelty, position it as the beginning of a new era of the Chinese automotive industry. However, there are already assumptions that many brands of the budget segment will be pushed to the background.
