Lake Yakty-kul, Bashkortostan: description, rest, fishing

On the territory of Bashkiria is the most beautiful lake of Yakty-Kul. In the Southern Urals it is the most popular place for recreation. On its coast is well-developed infrastructure. Hydronym

This lake has two names. In the Bashkir language it sounds like Yakty-Kul (considered historical), and in Russian - Bathhouse (used in everyday life). The latter is associated with a legend since the days of Emelian Pugachev. It says that in 1774 there was a parking lot. Before the next battle, Pugachev ordered his soldiers to have a good bath in the pond, in those days it was called "balking." This is what caused the name Lake Lake. Officially, this fact is not confirmed.

Brief description of Yakty-Kul

Lake Bannoe is located on the border of Bashkortostan and the Chelyabinsk region. The closest settlement is the village of Askarovo. It is 25 km away from the pond. By origin the lake is considered to be tectonic. It is located near three highlands: Kutukai (north-eastern side), Karanyalyk (south-west) and spurs of the Yamankaya Range (western part).

The area of the reservoir is more than 7.5 km 2 . Its length exceeds 4 km. The width is half the size: the average is about 2 km. Considering that this pond is mountainous, it has rather large depths. The average varies within 10 m, but the maximum reaches almost 30 m.

Lake Yakty-Kul is fresh, fed by mountain streams. The water in it is cool enough. The coast is surrounded by rocks, the banks in places steep and precipitous. The reservoir is located at an altitude of almost 440 meters above sea level. From it flows one river, which is a tributary of the Urals, Yangelka.

Fishing

Yakty-Kul is a lake that is popular among fishermen. There are a lot of fish here: bream, roach, pike, perch and others. In general, individuals are large. For example, peled reaches a length of 50 cm. The weight of such specimens exceeds 2 kg. The cleaver is excellent.

All fishermen say that in a few hours you can catch more than 10 kg of fish. As bait, you can use worms, pearl barley, manga and more. The most suitable time for catching is the morning hours, usually from 4:00 to 10:00. As early as the 30s of the XIX century the lake was stocked with whitefish, stickleback and peled. All the fishermen who visited Yakty-Kul, note a large number of fish. This is the indicator of excellent ecology in this region.

Sanatorium

On the territory of pine and deciduous forests, surrounded by beautiful mountains, is the sanatorium "Yakty-Kul". This region is a climatic and mud health resort. The sanatorium offers treatment for gynecological, renal and urological diseases, as well as problems of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory and digestive organs. In the summer, you can go for walks in the forest and the lake Yakty-Kul.

The cost of staying in economy-class rooms on average will cost 2500 rubles. for one day. For pensioners there are discounts. Children under 5 years stay free of charge. The standard category is somewhat more expensive. Here, the average number of rooms is about 3000-3500 rubles.

The minimum period of stay is 2 days, the optimal stay is 14-21 days. There is an opportunity to eat on a buffet. If you do not have a medical card with you, then for the examination you will have to pay not more than 500 rubles.

Ski resort "Bannoye"

The area that surrounds Lake Yakty-Kul (Bashkiria) is ideal for lovers of alpine skiing. You can come here at any time of the year. In the summer season, of course, almost everyone is relaxing on the beaches, but in winter they enjoy skiing. Here is a popular resort. Annually these places are visited by more than 200 thousand fans of extreme sports. Resort "Bathhouse" is a complex, which includes holiday homes, sanatoriums, children's camps.
