Often socks knit quickly and, I must admit, quite boring. The situation is saved by creative ways of creating interesting, bright and extraordinary products. Especially when it comes to knitting for children, teenagers and just gay people. Their accessories can have an unusual shape, pattern or color, for example, multi-colored rainbow stripes, the emblem of Superman or Batman, a funny Jacquard figure. Also, they are very beautiful (and enthusiastically knit) long knee-highs with an openwork pattern or braids. Selection of yarn

To produce warm socks, you will need yarn, which includes wool, mohair or angora (at least 30%). Knit from 100% acrylic is not worth it, because it does not give us any useful heat. However, this approach provides a rather limited space for the manifestation of the imagination of the master. No less common is the variant with the formation of a long strip of pattern that runs across the front of the sock. It is also convenient because of the clear geometric shape of the ornament. Manipulations with the reduction of loops and the loosening of the heel do not detract from knitting patterns and do not lead to the formation of errors.

At the same time, the tightening will be too noticeable, the fabric will not turn smooth, it can deform.
