Who does not know the Kenzo brand now? The perfume of this brand is identified with a bold and original style, in which all the achievements of the Western European and oriental fashion blended. Japanese minimalism of design of bottles, unusual and at the same time classicism of aromas - all this attracted the attention of consumers to this brand. The fashion house, located in Paris, produces not only perfume products, but also caring products (face and body creams, tonics, lotions, etc.). But in this article we will focus on the spirits and toilet waters from Kenzo. What does the perfume of this brand offer? What are the sales hits and what new products have appeared on the market in recent years? How much does the toilet water and perfume from Kenzo cost? Read about it below.

Who is Takada Kenzo?

In English there is such a concept "self-help man". Literally it is translated as "the person who made himself". This concept fully fits Takade Kenzo. He is the son of rather poor parents. He was born in the Japanese wilderness, in the forgotten town of Himeji in 1939. But despite life's circumstances, he learned to be a designer. At the same time, he had to break Japanese stereotypes about the fact that the fashion designer is exclusively a female profession. Takada was the only guy in the fashion school of Bunk Gakuen. After graduating from this institution, he got a job working out clothes for supermarkets. He lived then in a small town on the outskirts of Tokyo. And then fate smiled Kenzo. Tokyo was expanding rapidly. The whole quarters, built up by mansions, were demolished, and skyscrapers were erected in their place. Kenzo received a considerable compensation for his house, and decided to win the proceeds with Paris. Already in 1970, the Western world learned about women's clothing under the brand Kenzo. Perfume took the heart of the designer much later. In 1987, there is a feminine fragrance - Kenzo de Kenzo, and in 1991 - the male Kenzo pour Homme.

Who now owns the brand

Two years the designer was torn between the world of haute couture and perfume. During this time, the fashion for everything Japanese reached its peak. Europeans are tired of the pastel gray-blue range and sexy tightening outfits. And Kenzo brought in this chic Parisian glamor the oriental brightness and Japanese sense of freedom expression of personality. The same ideology was traced in the spirits of Kenzo. Perfumery has ceased to obey the established canons. Each fragrance declared a person as a person. Therefore, the brand "Kenzo" and enjoyed in the early 90's such popularity. To sell it Takadu was persuaded by the corporation LVMH. Finally, in 1993, the proposed conditions satisfied the designer and he lost all rights to perfume, leaving himself a modeling of clothes. But in 1999, the designer, after receiving the Peace Prize, retired.

In what state is now Kenzo: perfume from haute couture

Do not think that the brand, having lost its founder, fell into decay or changed its original orientation. Far from it - a bright and sensual orientation, Japanese minimalism and a craving for originality continue to be present in all the flavors of this brand. But the eastern notes in them are exactly what the hearts of Europeans conquer. This was the secret of Kenzo's success. Its aromas are not heavy, like Arabian perfumes on natural oils. And at the same time, they are knocked out of a number of "just expensive" perfumes, created according to the canons. If you are in a crowd, a sensitive nose immediately determines that you have perfume or scented water Kenzo. This fragrance can not be confused with anything. LVMH Corporation is constantly pleased with its fans with new products. To create them, she invites leading perfumers, such as Jacques Cavalier, François Demashi, Dominique Ropion, Silvia Fisher, Sonia Constant and others.

Men's Collection Kenzo

To understand the perfume features of this brand, it is worth trying the early samples. The very name of the perfume for women "King Kong" (1978) was shocking. Nevertheless, these spirits are a success. At first the designer let out single aromas, both female, and man's. But the corporation LVMH, which acquired the brand "Kenzo", began to outplay "variations on the topic." Thus the famous collections of Kenzo were born. Perfume "Kenzo pur Homme" (the first example of 1991) was continued. Now he is in the collection "For Men". The curved shape of the bottle and frosted glass are repeated in all subsequent releases. The best selling in this collection was the toilet water Kenzo Homme Boisee (woody smell). From the novelties it is worth trying "Homme Night" ("Night Man") and perfumed water Kenzo Homme. The fashion house Kenzo does not forget about the strong field in other collections. If they are dedicated to a topic, for example, water, power, the world, then it creates paired aromas. Sometimes all the fragrances of the collection come out as "unisex". This applies to the release of 2016 "Totem". The collection, presented in three flavors (Blue, Orange and Yellow), is designed for young and energetic people of both sexes.

Classic Kenzo Collection

Of course, most of the fragrances under this brand are intended for ladies. In this sphere the collection "Flower Bey Kenzo" has already become a classic. The aroma of flowers varies, but the theme of a powerful summer bouquet, where the heady rose is the dominant, remains. Every year a new sample replenishes the collection. Perfumery hired by the house, experiment with bouquets, supplementing them with spring freshness, oriental notes. The novelty of 2017 in this collection was Flower by Kenzo Eau de Lumière ("Glowing Water"). In this sample, a bouquet of Bulgarian roses, ylang-ylang and jasmine beautifully frames Calabrian bergamot and currant leaves on the basis of violets, heliotrope and white musk. No less famous collection is the "Jungle". A perfume with an elephant lid is more popular than Kenzo Jungle le Tigre.

"Love" collections

"Kenzo Amor" and Jeu d`Amour by Kenzo reviews of Russian users are called the most recognizable and famous female fragrances. Curved, bright colors of the bottles of these series immediately catch the eye on the shelves of perfume shops. These collections are very popular, and therefore replenish every year with new products. The last sample - Jeu d'Amour Félin, whose bottle resembles a small black dress, enchants with the aroma of strawberries, mandarin, tuberose and peony. Musk, amber and patchouli in the base create an amazingly feminine trail. From the collection "Amor" many users like "Indian holiday".

Kenzo: flavor of the holiday

Probably, you often wanted to spend some time in the resort, stop the moment. And "Kenzo" did it. The first sample in this collection was the scent "7:15 AM in Bali". The sun had only just risen, but in the thick jungle crowns, fogs of fog still stuck. Freshness of leaves, awakening of birds, aroma of tropical flowers. The second sample collection, "17:40 in Madagascar" also became a bestseller. The pre-red sun is depicted on the perfume box. And the bottle contains the scent of evening Madagascar. And, finally, "10:10 in Sicily." The hot rays have already heated the leaves of the orange trees, which exude its aroma, mixed with a light sea breeze. Is it possible to color the perfume? And it turned out to be specialists from Kenzo. Perfume "Koler Yellow" concluded in the fragrance all the yellow. Later the collection was replenished with pink and purple flowers.

Theme of water and air

This is another two famous collections of Kenzo. Shops of perfumery, as a rule, have many samples of aqua smells, both for men and women. The subject of water is connected with some idea of color. And in 2017 the company produced a pair of fragrance "Aquadizak" within the "L'O Kenzo" collection. But the sphere of air perfumers at home left behind a strong floor, releasing the spirits of "Earn" and "Earn Intance". This line immediately attracted the attention of men.
