IJ Junker: technical specifications

The motorcycle surprises not only with design, but also with speed. In a beautiful "candy" engineers were able to put worthy technical qualities, which simply can not hold back praise. First about external management. It is standard for all motorcycles. But still. The right handle is equipped with a front brake. It, by the way, is a hydraulic single-disk. The fact that IZH have established such a qualitative brake, even if borrowed from the Japanese YAMAHA, already speaks about the seriousness of the matter. On the right panel there are buttons "Stop engine" and "Light / Main beam". On the left handle is the clutch lever and the rear brake. He, to a great regret and misunderstanding, a drum type. And then the question arises: "Why?" After all, there would be enough room for hydraulics. Why then do not make a good two-wheel braking system? The consumption of the same fuel is a hundred kilometers relatively small. In the city it is 7 liters, on the highway at a speed of 90 km / h this number decreases to 5.5 liters, and on a flat road at a speed of 60 km / h it becomes altogether ridiculous - only 4 liters per 100 kilometers. Two tanks hold 15 liters, respectively, with average costs, without refueling, the motorcycle can stretch 300 kilometers. Do not forget that the Yu6 is a two-stroke engine, so always, after every refueling, it's worth adding 2T-oil to the gas tank. After all, the lubricant comes with fuel.

Repairs

Currently, there are no problems with the repair of IJ Junker. This is explained by the wide distribution of the model and a small "secret", if I may call it so. Namely: almost all the details of IZH are easily replaced by analogous ones from a close relative - "Jupiter". Therefore, with minor breakages, which happen quite often, do not worry about the parts.

This motorcycle is created for people who are not looking for foreign novelties. So, for their own. Therefore, the price is calculated for not very rich buyers. The demand for IL is still there, so the price is always maintained in tone. Izh "Junker" in good condition can be bought for 1000-1500 dollars.
