The order of installation of the roof panel

Installation of roofing sandwich panels is carried out in three basic stages. The first is the installation of the first plate and its fixing. The lifting of the products is carried out using a special vacuum mechanism. In places of pothaking it is necessary to remove the polyethylene film. Fastening of the first panel is carried out to the rafters or run, which are located near the ridge, and then it is attached to all remaining runs. If the roof slope is more than 12 m, the installation is made from the overhang to the ridge. After laying, check the correctness of the position.

The second stage is the cross-connecting of the product. The lower end of the next panel is cut, attaching it to the run. In doing so, remove some of the unnecessary insulation. After the stripping has been carried out, both panels are connected at the transverse joint. Then a longitudinal lock is performed. Before mounting in the lock slot, it is necessary to apply a silicone sealant, and then connect the panels.

When installing roof panels, follow these rules:

• Before laying the product, remove the protective film from the underside. Between the panels and the elements of the connection, the angle of inclination should be 5%.
• To avoid deformation of the locks and skewing of the plate, two grippers must be used for joining.
• When installing sandwich panels, the sealing tape must be attached outside the beams or girders.
• The type of fastening element, their number and place of fastening of one panel are indicated in the design documentation.

Skate installation

After all roofing sandwich slabs are installed, you can lay the inner ridge bar. Free space is filled with mounting foam. If the heater is a mineral wool in the product, the slots are laid with the same material. You can use a special seal for this. Then, profile polyurethane gaskets are installed, to which a sidewall strip is attached from both slopes of the roof. Then the polyurethane gasket with the adhesive backing is laid again. After that, the skate rail itself is installed.
