After that, the stalk should be taken with the left hand, and with the blade of the knife with the right hand make a cut of the cuttings located one centimeter above the kidney. The length of the incision should be about three to four centimeters. After this, the clinch with the kidney is separated from the cuttings and held by the edges of the cortex near the kidney with two fingers of the left hand. The right hand on the stem of the stock with a sharp knife cuts off a part of the bark in such a way that the wedge with the kidney coincides with the resulting cut in the area. After this, the kidney wedge with a quick motion is placed on the stock in the cutoff area. We need to ensure that the cut of the wedge coincides with the cut and the cortex also coincides with the stock at least in a small area.

The junction site after the inoculation is bound with mochalas, making sure that the kidney remains free. It is protected by a special paper cap.
