Inflammation of appendages

Inflammation of the appendages is a very common disease, from which up to 60% of all Russian women suffer. Most often inflammation of the appendages occurs in women of reproductive age, much less often it occurs in menopause. Acute inflammation of the appendages can cause cystitis. Because the bladder is near the appendages, the infection can move to nearby organs. When the acute form of adnexitis rises temperature, there is malaise and chills, there are severe pain in the lower third of the abdomen. If this disease is not treated, then the acute inflammatory process within two weeks passes into a chronic one.

The causative agents of adnexitis are streptococci, E. coli, gonococci.
A very dangerous complication may be the transition of inflammatory processes in
Abdominal cavity (peritonitis). Symptoms are expressed in a sharp increase
Temperature, sharp pains in the lower abdomen, worsening of the general condition of the patient. If you do not start urgently to treat the disease - a fatal outcome is possible. No less terrible consequence is infertility, which causes inflammation of the appendages. Consequences may manifest ectopic pregnancy.

Inflammation of the appendages should be treated in a comprehensive manner. In the chronic stage of adnexitis antibiotic therapy, physiotherapy, as well as symptomatic and balneological treatment are shown. Often there is a need for surgical intervention in the acute stage of the disease. Treatment of adnexitis depends on the type of disease and the form of its course.
