Individual entrepreneur, activities and their contents

Individual entrepreneurs (IP) belong to a wide range of subjects whose economic activities are regulated by the civil legislation of the Russian Federation. Therefore, it is very important to know and understand exactly what kinds of activities are available to them and what is the regime for registering the rights to occupy these species. As is known, IP, being full participants in civil legal relations, have civil rights and corresponding duties. Based on this basic statement, they can engage in those types of economic activities that do not fall under the prohibition of the law. Actual is the understanding and the procedure for issuing permits for occupying these types (licensing and patenting), and the procedure for this design. This knowledge should be owned by every individual entrepreneur.

Types of activity, their classification:

- usual types of individual entrepreneurial activity;

- types of activities that fall under the patent, requiring a license;

- Closed for this group of economic entities;

- requiring approval.

By ordinary species, any citizen has the right to be completely free to deal with immediately after registering the status of the IP. To implement them, no reconciliation and other permissive procedures are required. The spectrum of species of this group is extremely wide and it is simply not possible to present it here. The only condition that characterizes these species is that they should not harm the health of citizens and create a threat to their safety. To carry out this activity, no special education is required, and some educational qualifications are not available at all. For example, we will cite such as the provision of various services to the population, from cleaning of living quarters, to translation, etc. It is creative activity, publishing, educational. These types of activities include the rental of real estate and equipment, wholesale trade, trucking, which is carried out by an individual entrepreneur.

Activities that require special authorization are called licensed.

The license is a special authorization document, which serves as the basis for the IP, allowing to carry out this type of economic activity. The right to issue such documents belongs to the licensing authorities - authorized by law to the authorities authorized to do so. The list of these bodies, as well as a list of the types of activities whose implementation requires authorization, is established by the Government of the Russian Federation, at the moment the current decree is document No. 45 of 26.01.2006. He determines that the following for the IP are: the production of pharmaceutical products, the organization of private detective activities, the implementation of passenger and cargo transportation by sea and air transport and some others.

An individual entrepreneur whose activities are subject to licensing must undergo the procedure for obtaining this document. Its content, as well as a list of documents required for submission to the licensing authority, can be found on the information stand in any executive body that is authorized to issue licenses.

There are also types of activities that the individual entrepreneur has no right to carry out.

Activities closed for IP: design, development, testing, as well as production and sale of military products, manufacture, sale and production of poisons, drugs, etc. At present, such activities include alcohol-related activities.

There are also activities for which the IP is not required to issue a license, but coordination with the competent authorities authorized to supervise these areas is required. These include SES, MES, other surveillance and control services. The simplest example of such activity for IP is the organization of retail trade.
