Igor Kornelyuk is a singer and composer. He was born in the Belarusian Brest. Now Igor lives in St. Petersburg. The artist was very popular in the 80-90s of the 20th century. Now most of his work is writing music for films and serials.

A family

In 1962, on November 16, Igor Kornelyuk was born. The family, in which the future composer was born, had nothing to do with musical art. Parents - Eugene Kasyanovich and Nina Afanasyevna - were engineers. However, the grandmother of the artist - Maria Demyanovna - played a seven-string guitar and sang romances. And when the guests gathered at the house, table songs were performed at the table in chorus. Often asked to sing and Igor. The professor of the Belarusian Conservatory recommended that his parents send their son to study at a music school. At the age of six, Igor began to learn how to play the piano. At the same time, parents believed that the musician - this is not a profession, and were against the boy chose a business for himself. Mother and father changed their minds only after years.

Childhood

Igor Kornelyuk wrote his first work at the age of 9. It was a song "Russia, my dear Russia ..." At the music school, he studied badly. At the same time, from the 5th grade, he worked part-time, playing at the dance as part of an ensemble on Ionic. For this young musician received about 30 rubles a month. In adolescence, Igor came to first love. But the girl did not reciprocate with his feelings, and this fact was so tragic for him that he fell ill. Igor Evgenievich says that he is very grateful to Luba, who rejected his feelings and thereby helped him to become a composer. It all began with the writing of naive songs about unhappy love for poems of great poets. After the end of the 8th grade Igor entered the music school of the city of Brest for the theory and composition department. But he paid little attention to studies, since he combined it with work in rock ensembles. His teacher saw him as a talent and advised the young man to go to study in St. Petersburg, as it was the best school for composers in the country. Igor listened to the teacher's words and left.

Student years

Arriving in Leningrad, Igor Kornelyuk began to prepare to enter the school named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov. Training programs in Brest and St. Petersburg were different, for this reason the transfer from one educational institution to another was impossible. In Leningrad, Igor had to enter the music school anew on the first course. For the entrance examinations, he wrote several piano pieces. He was accepted, and here he already took up his studies seriously. In college I. Kornelyuk met with Regina Lisits, who became a permanent co-author of the composer.

After graduation, Igor Kornelyuk married a girl named Marina. In 2012, the couple celebrated the 30th anniversary of their joint life.

In 1982, Igor continued his studies already in the conservatoire for the composition class. During the years of study he wrote many works that students performed. I.Kornelyuk wrote complex music, close to the classics. And to write hit pop songs began to dispute. In one course Alexander Morozov, composer-songwriter, studied with him. And he said to I.Kornelyuk that he would not be able to write simple songs that all the people would sing. Two composers argued for cognac. Soon, Igor Evgenievich wrote several songs. They immediately became popular - it's "Darling" and "Ticket to the ballet."

He graduated from the conservatory composer with distinction.

Professional activity

Igor Kornelyuk, whose photo is presented in this article, was the musical director of the "Buff" theater in St. Petersburg for three years after graduating from the conservatory. At the same time, he wrote songs for such performers as Anna Veski, Edita Piekha. After participating in the program "Musical Ring" Igor Evgenievich woke up famous, and this was the beginning of his brilliant solo career. Arranged for their songs the composer has always done and does only himself.

For the years of his work Igor Kornelyuk wrote more than a hundred songs, several musical performances and an opera for children "Pull-push", which since 1989 and still successfully takes place on the stage of the St. Petersburg Music Hall.

Igor continues to write music today. In addition, he tours around the world and takes part in charity concerts. The composer tried himself as the host of the telecast, starred in episodes of several serials, acted as a jury member at music festivals. Was the leading beauty contest. The composer dreams of writing an opera. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
