Hydrogen sulfide baths. Indications and contraindications
The most effective method of balneotherapy is hydrogen sulphide baths. Indications for their application are very diverse. Hydrogen sulfide (or sulphide) baths are widely used in the complex therapy of patients who suffer from various ailments.
The effect of this treatment on the patient's body is due to several factors. First, the hydrostatic pressure and temperature of the water have a beneficial effect on the patient. Secondly, hydrogen sulphide penetrates into the skin and blood. This valuable natural element irritates nerves on the endings of nerve fibers, which allows to maximize the work of all organs and systems of the human body.
Adoption of hydrogen sulphide baths can enhance coronary circulation, reduce blood pressure, improve peripheral resistance of the heart muscle and the state of the nervous system. Under the influence of hydrogen sulfide baths, biologically active elements are formed that promote the expansion of small capillaries and improve metabolic processes in the body.
