Hungarian apple pie and Gerbot cake

Hungarian pie with apples is a treat for "hardened" sweeties. It uses the most juicy apples. There is a lot of sugar in it, but it is not necessary to reduce its quantity in the pursuit of diet. If you want to bake Hungarian apple pie, the recipe of which is very balanced, you do not need to adjust the proportions, it is better to serve it with unsweetened tea.

Hungarian apple pie

It will take :

  • 140 g of flour;
  • 160 g of semolina;
  • 1.5 tablespoons of baking powder or soda;
  • 180 g (almost one and a half cup) of white sugar;
  • 0.5 kg of refined juicy apples;
  • 100-120 g of butter;
  • cinnamon.

Hungarian apple pie is prepared as follows: first in a clean container you need to mix sifted flour with soda, cinnamon and semolina. This mixture should remain dry.
Peeled apples should be grated on a large grater or cut very finely. Lubricate the shape in which you will bake, butter, without regretting it. Pour 1/3 of the dry mixture onto the bottom. Carefully level and lay on this layer half of grated or chopped apples. Then another layer of dry mixture, and another apple layer. The last layer must be flour. From above, you need to rub well chilled butter and sprinkle with one spoonful of sugar. Hungarian apple pie is baked at 180 ° C for 40 minutes - make sure that the crust blushes well.

Step-by-step baking of the Jerbo cake

First dissolve the yeast in the warmed milk. Sift the sifted flour with baking powder and sugar, and yolks with sour cream. Melt the butter. Stir all the ingredients mentioned and ensure that the dough does not stick to your hands. Leave to approach for twenty minutes, then divided into seven parts. For the filling, chop the dried apricots, chop the nuts and mix them with cinnamon. Put the cakes in a mold, sprinkle alternately with all kinds of fillings, and also grease with jam. The last cake should be on top, it must be pricked with a fork. Put the cake in a preheated oven for 180 minutes for an hour, chilled, pour a frosting of chocolate, butter and cognac. Bon Appetit!
