Shaurma is an oriental dish, which gained immense popularity in the late 90s. Prepare it with bread, lavash and flat cakes. The main and irreplaceable ingredient is meat. For one liter of oil there are 2 eggs, 9-12 cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of salt. Eggs with salt are beaten with a mixer. After add the crushed garlic and slowly pour in the oil - so that the sauce is not too liquid. You can also experiment and add a little lemon or vinegar. Fans of the sharp can put a little red pepper and turmeric. Afterwards a glass of warm water is poured into the sauce. Those who do not have the desire to prepare sauce, can replace it with mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard.

Often, French fries are added to shawarma , which is not recommended. In addition, that it spoils the taste of the shawarma itself, French fries, poured with sauce, can become dehydrated and turn into porridge. Therefore it is better not to put it.

For the preparation of shawarma it is necessary to use fresh lavash, since the stale can crack, and the filling will come out. Before wrapping the shawarma, pre-fried meat and stuffing are put on a sheet of lavash from one side. Here you can use different ingredients: Korean carrots, cut cabbage, onions, mushrooms, tomato slices, pickled cucumbers - all this is perfect for filling shawarma. Does not hurt and grated cheese. Do not forget about the sauce. After everything is laid, you can start to twist.

How to wrap shaurma properly? To do this, the ends of the pita bread are folded across the filling, and after it is wrapped pita with stuffing in the form of a tube. So the filling will not fall out of pita bread. Then shawarma needs to be warmed up.

Traditionally, a device similar to an electric wafer is used for heating. At home, you can use a frying pan. It is not recommended to reheat the dish in the microwave, as pita bread can become dehydrated.
