How to weave shamballa: practical recommendations

In our world, there is often a lack of balance, a sense of peace, goodwill, inner warmth and peace. All this, according to Tibetan legends, could be found in the mythical realm of Shambhala. His search was followed by brave travelers, but only the Tibetan monks knew the real secret of this country. They gave the secret to people how to weave Shamballa - decorations of the same name. These bracelets and beads consist of alternately knitted knots and beads and, according to legend, help to find Shamballa where it has always been, is and will be - within itself.

In order to become the owner of his personal shamballa, we will need: about 2.5 meters of waxed cord, 5-6 large beads, a small board and two nails. And also scissors. To begin with, we will prepare a kind of machine, on which we will fasten the bracelet when weaving. In a board at a distance of about 20 centimeters from each other driving nails - this will be a "machine". Now let's proceed to the process itself, how to make shamballa.

We cut off 50 centimeters of the cord. We fasten it between two nails, tying it on knots so that 10-15 centimeters of free cord remain on both sides. They will serve as ties for Shamballa. When one end of the cord is fixed on the nail, thread all the beads on the cord, and only then fix it on the other side. On the resulting blank, which should be well stretched between the nails, we will practice how to weave shamballa. The remaining cord about two meters long stretch under a stretched base and tie it to a simple knot so that we have two symmetrical ends - right and left. To distinguish them, tie one of them, for example, left, a non-tangle bundle. We begin the weaving.

By themselves, the techniques of weaving knots on shamballa are similar to weaving macrame, which means that if you mastered this skill in school, it will be easy for you to understand how to weave shambala. We make the first node. To do this, hold the left end of the cord under the base, and then overlay it on the right end and hold it with your finger. The right end is entered into the resulting wide loop and tightened both - the node is ready. We repeat the procedure this time from right to left - the leading thread now becomes our right - it's easy to identify, because we made a knot on it!

So we weave as many nodes as you want, before crossing with the first bead. After that, we take the bead, pull tightly to the knots already knotted and make another knot so that the bead is in its middle. After you tighten the ends, it will be seen that now the bead is tightly fastened to the bracelet. Thus, alternating in the order you need knots and beads, you will learn how to weave shamballa. When you add the base of your bracelet, you'll have to come up with a clasp. Remove the bracelet from the machine, pick up its ends and place one on top of the other. Now continue to bind the standard nodes, but not just one thread-base, but two. It will be difficult at first, but only at first. Having made pieces of 5-6 such knots, tie both strings of a cord by a strong knot and cut. You will get a bracelet with freely stretchable and tightened ends. Hang on the ends of the cord on the bead, so that they are not worn out, enjoy the finished shamballa.
