How to use plastic rings for a well

More recently, when constructing wells, mostly concrete rings or wooden log houses were used. These designs had a number of quite significant drawbacks. For example, in the joints between concrete elements, the soil and sludge were constantly stuffed. Therefore, they had to be cleaned periodically. Wooden log houses quickly rotted and required replacement.

Today, for this purpose, it is more expedient to use a much more modern material - plastic rings for the well. These elements are a strong corrugated pipe. After the well is filled with water, the construction of the rings will not allow it to contact the ground, since it is absolutely hermetic. Such structures do not need to be cleaned without end, as concrete, for example. In addition, they are much more durable than wood.

The height of the standard section is about 2 m. The weight of this element reaches only 50 kg. Therefore, unlike concrete rings, the installation of the entire structure can be made without the use of any technique. It is not difficult to install pipes with a maximum of two people. The same goes for transportation. If for transportation of reinforced concrete it is required to order special equipment, then the rings for Wells plastic can also be delivered on private vehicles. This is extremely convenient and allows you to reduce the cost of construction.

The drinking well of plastic rings is arranged in principle in the same way as usual. Preliminary geological surveys are conducted. To do this, you should contact a specialist. It is quite difficult to independently determine the location of water. There are, of course, fairly accurate ways, but a professional will do it much better and faster. In the end, the correct determination of the closest water location on the site will also make it possible to reduce the cost of digging.

In order to build a well, they first dig out the pit itself. These structures can be divided into two groups - open and closed. The first type is arranged mainly on clay soils. Crushed stone is poured into the bottom of the pit, and then the plastic rings for the well are assembled. Seams between them are smeared with a sealant. The diameter of the pit should exceed the diameter of the rings by several centimeters. In this case, the installation will be much easier. After mounting the rings, the gap between the walls of the pit and the rings is covered with rubble and compacted.

In the friable soil, wells of a closed type are arranged. Since a deep hole in such a land is difficult to dig, first dig out a small pit. A ring is placed in it. Further from under it remove the soil. As soon as it descends a sufficient distance from the surface, the next element is placed on it. Thus, they collect all the plastic rings for the wells. The price of them, by the way is not too high, and can be of the order of 1000-1500 rubles apiece depending on the height. As a result, it is possible to excavate a pit of sufficient depth, avoiding soil shedding. The bottom is covered with rubble, and the top is mounted on the cover.

Such structures are used for the device not only for drinking wells, but also for inspection, drainage, and sewerage. In any of these cases, a durable, convenient construction is obtained. Rings for a plastic well may have very different diameters. In ordinary elements this figure is 60-90 cm.
