How to record an MP3 disc using the regular system tools?

Despite the fact that optical discs are quite rare in our life, since flash drives and "cloud" technologies have replaced them, sometimes there is still the question of how to record an MP3 disc. Quite often this is faced by motorists, whose full-time radio is not equipped with USB-input.

It's not difficult to do this, but you always need to remember some features of the recording, if you ignore it, you can completely ruin the disc. In addition, beginners often write so that their creation is not readable in any drive, not excluding the drive of the computer on which the recording was made.

So, first let's consider how to burn an MP3-disk by means of the Windows OS itself, since the whole subsequent story will go about it. Immediately note that all of the following will be relevant for Win 7 and 8, as in XP own means for writing to the disk is, but they are too clumsy, and dummies with their "invaluable" help can be spoiled just a bunch.

Suppose that you have a stock of MP3-disk files that lie on your hard drive or on a flash drive. How can I transfer them to a blank disc? To do this, open the drive, put a blank disk there (assume that a standard CD will be used), close the drive. We go to the folder "My computer" and wait until the new disk is determined by the system.

We click on it two times with a mouse, after which a dialog box appears immediately, in which you will have to choose how to use it. Since we need to record an MP3 disc, we choose the option that offers the use of a recorded disc with a CD or DVD player. In the same window, select the name for your new project, and then click the "Next" button. A window will appear with an empty field, on which you need to drag the files you need with the mouse or simply paste them with the Ctrl + V key combination. However, you can use the context menu for this .

Are the files already in place? Then we right-click on the empty space in the window for recording (where files are waiting for your time prepared for writing), then select "Write a disc" in the drop-down context menu. A next dialog box opens, where you can again choose the name of your project, as well as the recording speed. Note especially! Do not select the maximum speed value, since in many cases this results in the recorded disc being read only in the computer drive. Click on the "Next" button, after which we wait for some time ...

In a word, it's not hard to write songs to a CD using the built-in tools of Windows. We insert a fresh disk into our radio tape recorder and enjoy the music!

And how to record an MP3 disc using WMP (the standard multimedia player that comes with the operating system)? Well, it's also easy. Launch the application (assuming that the blank disc is already in the drive) and open the "Write" tab in the upper right corner. In the "Field for recording", which is located just below, also drag the audio files described above. Press the "Start recording" button, then wait a bit.

We hope that you understand how to record an MP3 disc!
